Hidden in the dark

Frank's POV:

I finally reach my room. It took me an hour to hobble up the stairs. Damn fucking angel. I'm going to contact both Gerard and Mr. Way. Gerard will talk to me until Mr. Way gets here. I grab my phone and input his number. Hmm, weird number 666-4929. 666 number of the beast and 4929 spells out GWAY. Maybe his first name starts with a G. I label his name as WAY.

To: WAY
Please help.

I send. "Gerard" I say, my voice raspy. I get a quick reply.

From: WAY
Coming. Be there soon. Don't move. I'll come to your window.

"You okay sweetheart? I can stay until Mr. Way gets here. I'm here though darling." Gerard says to me. I wish I could just feel his or Mr. Way's arms around me.

"I'm in pain. He didn't do a lot of damage but it's enough. I just need someone to talk to until Mr. Way gets here. I wish I could just stay with you two. You guys accept me." I say in between caughs and wheezes.

"Oh darling. Once you turn 18 you can stay with us. You will know who I am by then. You are going to be okay. The angel can't hurt you as much as he used to." He coos. I feel myself tearing up. "Baby, don't cry. It's going to be okay. You need not worry. I'm sorry I can't be here with you in person right now but it'll scare you and I don't want to scare my Frankie. Relax sweetie. He's coming." Gerard says. I wish I could be with them.

"I-I know. I-I'm s-scared though. W-what a-about m-my mom?" I say. I'm shaking. My breathing is unstable. My mom is the only real family I have.

"I know you're scared baby. I'm keeping your mom safe too. Mr. Way is the best I've got. He's slain some of the strongest angels god's got. He's here. I'll see you in your dreams tonight okay sweetie?" He says. I hear a car pulling up. That was quick. He must live close. Took him ten minutes.

"Okay, talk to you later Gerard." I say and I hear a quiet knock at my window. I motion that it's open and he pulls it open. God he get up here so quick? He slides through the window with ease.

"Frank! Fuck, what has he done to you. I'm bringing you to mine. I need to fix you up. Don't worry, I've got Gerard working on making it look like you are here for the night and left for school in the morning. He's protecting your mom too." He says to me worriedly. I nod.

"Thank you Mr. Way. He just did the usual. Gerard told me. I can't walk though. It took me an hour to get upstairs. I would have texted you sooner. Please get me out of here." I say and he looks at me sadly. He walks up to me and scoops me up in his arms a wince.

"I'm so sorry. I hate to see any good person like this. Let's get you to mine. Heal you up. Gerard gave me some medication that should allow me to help you heal quicker." He says and steps out my window with me in his arms. He closes the window. I don't know how he's going to get down though. It's a pretty steep drop. I'm on the second floor. He walks toward the edge and jumps. I hold onto him as tight as I can. We land and he continues walking like he just didn't do a jump that can break all human bones.

"How did you? I broke my foot from jumping that." I say and he looks at me and shrugs.

"I battle angels that can fly. Jumping that is just like a bunny hop to me. Gerard like to fly high too so he gave me training on how to land." He says nonchalantly. Something is seriously up with this dude.

"I've been meaning to ask. Your phone number, it spells G. Way, does your first name start with a G?" I ask. He smiles.

"Yeah. You can just call me Gee. Out of school obviously." He says as we get in his car. We drive off to his home. It's quite nice. We get out of the car and he carries me again. "You can borrow my brothers clothes and room. He's not here at the moment. He's either in hell or with his very non hell believing girlfriend. I find it ironic because he works with the devil and she doesn't believe in the devil." He says with a laugh. He sets me down on his couch and grabs some meds. "This may hurt a bit. I'm going to need you to take off your shirt and pants. I'm not a pervert don't worry. I'm just going to apply the ointment and grab you some pajamas." He says. I nod and slide my shirt and pants off. "Oh, Frank. You poor thing. We've got you. We are going to make it better. We swear. You won't have to deal with stupid fucking angels again." He says and moves a strand of hair away from my face.

"I'll live Gee. I've had worse. Thank you for saving me though. Honestly the only person that's cared in my life was my mom. She was always in panic mode though so it was hard on her. It still is. I told her to protect herself and I can protect myself." I say and I hear a growl. Coming from Gee. It's like the one from earlier. Claws scraping against something again.

"I fucking hate angels. You guys don't deserve this. I'll kill him." He growls. I give a small smile. He sits beside me and holds my hand. "If he dares to touch you again I will personally cut off his head and shove it up his ass. Then he will literally have his head up his ass." He says angrily. I giggle a bit.

"Thanks Gee. I hate them too. I like the angst you have against them. I love the threat by the way. It's kind of funny to see you this angry at an angel. Gerard told me you are his best... I guess you can call it an assassin." I say he gives a small laugh.

"I better be the fucking best. He's only got me and my brother. My brother is a fucking shit slayer. He can't tell an angel from a flower." He exclaims and we both laugh. He cleans out my wounds and bandages me up. He helps me into my pajamas and sets me in bed. "Goodnight Frank. See you tomorrow." He says. He leaves the room and I swear as soon as my head hits the pillow I'm out.

"Hey Frankie." I hear Gerard say. I don't see him though. I just see what I saw when I came here first. The only thing that's different is he's not behind me.

"Where are you Gerard?" I ask. I hear him giggle. I see a feather land infront of me and I look up. I see him in Gee's form floating above me.

"Hey Frankie. Those bruises look terrible babe. Gee did a good job of cleaning you up though. I know he's going to kill me. Now I can talk to my beautiful Frankie face to face though." He says and lands infront of me. He smiles and kisses my cheek. He's beautiful. I mean Gee is beautiful but with all these other features it's magical. He has fangs, long and sharp nails that are painted black. His eyes are pure white but have a bit of a red glow. Two huge black feathery wings protrude from his back. He's wearing a band shirt, black skinny jeans and combat boots. Not what you'd think the devil would look like. He places his hands on my hips and smiles softly at me.

"Gerard, who are you? You are such a mystery. Please just tell me." I say and he giggles. He places his head in the crook of my neck and kisses it again.

"Mmm, not yet sweetie." He says and brings his head back up. He cups my cheek and moves a bit closer to me. "Would ya do the devil a favour and stop being so damn adorable? Makes me want to kiss you." He says with a purr in his voice. Wow, noises I'd never thought I'd hear coming from Gee's mouth and their damn hot.

"Why don't ya then. If you think I'm so damn cute. The devil's got to learn how to fix his own problems." I say and he smirks. He caresses my face and leans in a bit more.

"Honey, hellfire and humans don't get along. I guess since you are being protected by me that it doesn't affect you. So honey, what do you say? Want to be kisses by the king of hell himself?" He says to me with a smirk. I lean a bit closer. He gives a small growl and closes the gap. My eyes flutter closed and so do his. His lips are warm. I could easily memorize his every touch. My hands go up to his hair and I grab hold of it. He smiles and licks my lip. I open up cautiously. I feel his warm tongue slide against mine as he tilts his head ever so slightly. His grip tightens a bit. I pull away for air. "Mmm, baby. You're a good kisser. I can't imagine how good that feels in the other dimension too when we'd have all the time in the world. Would you like to maybe see how you and satan work out?" He says and runs his hands up and down my body before grabbing my waist.

"I'd like that. Just a mortal dating Lucifer. Just your casual couple. I don't care what you look like Gerard. I like you for you." I say and he kisses me quickly and softly.

"I'm almost ready to show you who I am. Not going to happen today though. It's morning by the way. You should wake up soon. Don't worry you can always talk to me. See you in your dreams darling." He says to me and kisses me goodbye. What a weird night. I can officially say I'm dating the devil. Weird huh. He makes a good partner though. I'm happy to say that I'm probably going to hell.
