Hidden in the dark

Frank's POV:

"Morning sleepyhead. School day is almost over. I hope your rest made you feel better. Remember you can always talk to me about anything. Text me if anything gets bad." I hear a voice say. It sounds like Gerard. I shoot my head up to find the voice coming from Mr. Way. Gerard said he and Mr. Way. They have to be two different people.

"Sorry I slept all day. I had this weird dream." I say and he sits beside me. He brushes his long black hair out of his face and looks at me. God I wish I was as beautiful as him. Too bad I can't date him. He's like my dream dude.

"That's fine. You are going through a lot. I understand. What was your dream about if you don't mind me asking?" He asks me and scratches the back of his neck.

"Thank you Mr. Way. In the dream I was apparently in hell. A man named Gerard said he'd protect me. He said I know him in this realm but he didn't tell me who he is. Apparently he's also the devil. He said that hell is good and heaven is bad. It confused me but I didn't feel scared there I felt protected and loved. It was strange. The only thing I saw from him was his wings and his hands. He was so nice though." I tell him and he smiles. I rarely see Mr. Way smile. His smile is beautiful.

"The devils protecting you hey? I've had that dream before. Met the guy too. Why do ya think I named that seat the devils chair? Why do you think people are scared of me? Apparently I'm some damned devil worshiper. You aren't going crazy. You can contact either of us. We've got to protect you from that angel." He says to me. He doesn't think I'm crazy?

"Wait. You don't think I'm crazy? He sounds kind of like you. How do you know about the angel? Did he show up to you like he did to me? He was hugging me from behind. He gave me kisses. The weird thing though is I liked it. I didn't even see him and I like him. He called me sweetheart." I say kind of in a rushed matter. Mr. Way giggles at me. He can giggle? He was always so serious.

"Hell no, you aren't crazy. I've seen hell just like you. He sounds like me because he uses my voice. It is an easy source for him because we've known each other for so long. I guess you can say I've been to hell more times then you can count. I've known him for a long time and he gives me a lot of information. He gets me to do things that he can't in this realm. It a deal we have. The angel is closer to you than you think. So is the devil though. Gerard's a weird one. I guess I can't say anything though. He showed up to me straight up. I we never met in the human realm. He never flirted with me. Him and I have gay offs though." Mr. Way says with a laugh. I give a light giggle. He's gay? Well I'm learning a lot.

"Remind me to join one of those gay offs from time to time. It sounds fun! Can you by any chance tell me who the angel is and who he is? I'm not going to even ask about the deal." I say and we both laugh. It's almost like he isn't a teacher.

"I'm pretty sure I'd win. I always do." Mr. Way says with a smirk. I wrinkle my nose and stick my tongue out at him. He laughs. "The angel and the devil. Well the angel is your father. He can't do much with the devil and I protecting you though. I have to keep Gerard's secret though. I can say one thing. He likes to use my body too. So if by any chance he comes out looking like me. Which I swear to fuck I will kill him for. It's because he's hiding his identity. Motherfucker does it to me all the time." He says and I tut.

"Mr. Way! Language!" I exclaim and he laughs. "Thanks for the info though." I say and he nods.

"No problem but don't tell me about my language. I've heard how fucking dirty your mouth can be so shut the fuck up!" He jokes. I flip him off and he laughs. "Ohhh! The middle finger!" He says mockingly. I glare.

"SHIT! I've got to run. I'll see you later Mr. Way! I'll contact you if anything happens. Thanks for the talk!" I say and I start packing. He puts his hand on my shoulder.

"Need a ride? I can drive you. Might as well find out where you live if I need to come help." He says to me. Gerard is right. He's very nice. I'm glad I met him. I find it cool that him and my out worldly protector work together.

"Sure. Thanks so much Mr. Way. You're awesome." I say and he smiles. He slings his arm around my shoulder and walks me out to his car. It's a black car with tinted windows. We hop in and I notice how pale he really is. He's like paper white. I tell him my address and we put on music. He likes the same music I do! Great! We listen to some Black Flag as he drives me home. His voice is amazing. No wonder why he's the head of the music and art departments at school. He's fucking talented! We get to my house and say our goodbyes.

"Hello Father." I say before entering my house.
