Hidden in the dark
Chapter 10
Frank's POV:
We get back to Gee's house and it's dark inside but to Gee and I it looks just fine due to our advanced vision. My mom is hitting herself on almost everything. It's kind of funny.
"FUCK! Just stubbed my toe!" My mom cries out. I giggle. Gee hugs me from behind as we both watch her. It's quite amusing.
"Linda, would you like to see? Just don't turn on any lights please. It'll burn Frank and I's eyes out." He says with a sympathetic tone. I let my eyes go white and I stare at him creepily. He chuckles. My mom bangs into something else. We both let out a small giggle.
"How about you two stop laughing and help me actually see! I can't see in the dark like you guys! I'd love to see!" She screeches.
"Sorry mom! It's just too funny! I can see you flailing your arms. Gee can we make her see when she's here? She's human and can't see like us." I say and Gee smiles at me. He snaps his fingers and my mom freezes in place.
"I can finally see now. Wait, if this is easy light for you to see in, sunny days must be a pain then. Now I get why you wore those sunglasses." She says and looks around like it's her first time seeing the world.
"We see the world a lot brighter than humans, it's why I like dark places. By the way, I'm not going to stop you from anything other than going to see your husband. He's dangerous. I can easily protect you and kill him now. Are you okay with that? He's getting stronger. So are we though. An angel can't do much to the devil but he can hurt a human." He says to my mom. I keep my eyes on him, just staring. He stares at me and turns his eyes too. We both giggle at each other. I am still learning on how to control and use my powers.
Wait, does Ray know that Gee changed me?
