Never been better

Frank's POV

Gerard hasn't been right for the last couple of months.
He gets up in the middle of the night and he thinks I can't hear him which I can but I don't let on that I know something is up.
But on the plus side me and Gerard have been in a relationship for 2 months and I couldn't be anymore happier, it's like I finally have a family. Even if Seth wasn't my kid I'm sure as hell going to treat him like he's mine.

Seth was at his child minders and it was just me and Gerard for the morning since we was both working the afternoon and evening shifts.
"Gee, is something wrong with you?" I asked finally managing to summon the balls to ask him.
"I'm okay." Gerard said quietly.
"Don't lie to me Gee. I've heard you being sick in the night. It's been happening since we've been together. Just tell me what's the matter." I said.
"Don't hate me when I say this." Gerard said and looked at me and he had tears in his eyes.
"I wouldn't hate you." I said and lent forward and kissed him which Gerard returned.
"Whatever is wrong, just know I am not going to leave you or Seth. You two are my family now." I said and Gerard smiled a little and looked down.
"I'm pregnant." Gerard whispered.
I looked at him waiting for him to say he was joking but Gerard looked at me and I saw he wasn't joking.
"How far along are you?" I asked.
"3 months." Gerard whispered again.
I tried to work it out by I couldn't wrap my head round it.
"Frank, when we first had sex. It was 3 months ago. Do the math." Gerard said.
"Oh shit!" I said loudly which made Gerard jump and look down.
"Are you going to keep it? I mean if you dont want to, it won't make me not love you as much as I do." I said hoping that Gerard wasn't going to get rid of it.
"I can't get rid of it." Gerard said quietly.
"If you could would you get rid of it, tell me the truth." I said seriously.
Gerard looked at me.
"No. No, I couldn't kill something which has no voice or choice in life. I can't destroy a life it's not right in my eyes." Gerard said and I couldn't help but smile.
"We can be a family Gee." I said and Gerard smiled.
"You sure your are up for this life commitment? It's not easy, I mean it's going be crying for the first year..." Gerard said but I stopped him by kissing him.
"As long as I have you by my side I'm up for this. Can't wait to finally meet it." I said and Gerard smiled.
"I was meant to tell you much more earlier than this but I never summon the balls, but today is my 12 week scan to see how the baby is. You want to join me?" Gerard said and I looked at him.
"Well that's the most stupidest question ever. Course I'll come with you and see our child." I said and Gerard smiled widely.
I lent forward and kissed him which Gerard returned.
"We need to get going otherwise we will be late." Gerard said and stood up.
I did the same and we both got dressed and went to the hospital.

After the hospital Gerard was really hungry so before we went home and got changed and go to work we went to this pizza place.
"Can't believe we're having a baby." I said with a smile on my face and I noticed Gerard smiling.
"It's nice to feel happy about being pregnant and not have to stress and not enjoy it like with Seth." Gerard said and looked down.
I wrapped my feet round Gerard's ankles which made Gerard look at me.
"I'm going to treat you like a king." I said and Gerard smiled.
"What do you want it to be?" I asked and Gerard shrugged his shoulders.
"Healthy, that's all I want." Gerard said quietly.
Something wasn't right.
"Babe, what's wrong?" I asked.
"I just have nobody to tell. Nobody to enjoy our good news, Seth doesn't really count by the way." Gerard said.
"What about Mikey?" I asked.
"I told Mikes about us being together and he said he wants nothing more to do with me and that I now officially have no family." Gerard said and started to pick at his food.
"Hey, you don't need them. They abandoned you when you really needed them, they weren't your family. They are missing out on so much, and that's their fault. We have our little family and if they choose not to be a part of it then fuck them. Fuck the lot of them." I said and Gerard smiled.
We spent the rest of our meal talking about the baby.

"Thank fuck I have a day off tomorrow." I said as I climbed into bed next to Gerard.
"Hey, I have a favor to ask." Gerard said and rolled on his side and looked at me.
"If you want me too look after Seth then you don't even need to ask. I think of him as my kid so course I'll look after him. Give me practice for this one comes along." I said and put my hand on Gerard small baby bump he was getting.
"If you wanted practice then you should of been with me 4 years ago. That child was like Satan." Gerard and I couldn't help chuckle.
"Daddy?" A sleepily voice said from the door and Gerard rolled over and I lent on Gerard.
"What the matter little man?" Gerard asked and Seth shuffled over dragging his teddy behind him.
"I had a bad dream. Can I sleep with you and Frankie tonight?" Seth said.
"Climb on in little man." I said as I moved away from Gerard and made space in the bed for Seth.
Seth climbed over Gerard and he sat on Gerard and looked at Gerard's belly and frowned.
Gerard looked at me and I nodded.
"Hey, I have something to tell you." Gerard said and Seth looked at Gerard.
"You are going to be a big brother." Gerard said and Seth looked down.
"But I'll still be little man?" Seth asked.
"You will always be my little man." Gerard said and pulled Seth down for a hug.
"Right you need to settle down and go to sleep." Gerard said and rolled on to his side and Seth ended up between us.
I watched Seth and Gerard fall asleep before I fell asleep as well.
