Never been better

Frank’s POV

I woke up before Gerard and it felt strange not having the kids around but at the same time it felt lush not having them around.
I heard Gerard sigh loudly as he rolled over to face me.
”Morning beautiful.” I said and Gerard smiled sleepily at me as he closed his eyes.
”Have you heard from your mother about Rella and Nix?” Gerard asked and I rolled over and picked my phone up and saw Ma had texted me saying Rella was fine and so was Phoenix.
”They are Fine Babe.” I said as I threw my phone onto the bed.
“Did she mention how Rella burn was?” Gerard asked already getting worried about the kids.
”It’s a 2nd degree burn, but Ma said its on the lower scale of a 2nd degree burn.” I said as I lead back down and Gerard did the same which surprised me as he cuddled into my chest.
”The place is too quiet.” Gerard said which made me chuckle.
”But it’s lush though having some peace and having the place to ourselves for a while.” I said as I moved so Gerard was under me.
”It is nice to have the place to ourselves.” Gerard said as he traced his finger over my tattoos.
I lent down and kissed Gerard which Gerard returned as he deepened the kiss and we started to make out which then turned into sex.

”Could you focus somewhere else to give me hickies? You know so it doesn’t look obvious on what we was up to last night.” Gerard said as we stood by this woman’s door where Seth was at waiting for her to answer it.
”But I like giving you hickies on your neck, it shows people you belong to me.” I said and kissed one of Gerard’s hickies.
”I belong to nobody mister. You should know this.” Gerard said and poked my chest as I gently caught hold of his chin and kissed him, which then the door just happened to open like normal when I am stealing a kiss from Gee.
“Hey Gerard, Hey Frank.” This woman said even though I have no idea who she was but she knew my name which was creepy so I let Gee do the talking.
”Hey Jen. How was last night?” Gerard said and I noticed the nickname he gave her.
”Last night was good fun.” The ‘Jen’ girl said and before anyone could speak Seth came running out and wrapped his arms round both mine and Gerard’s legs.
”Hey little man, did you have a good time last night?” I asked as I picked Seth up and he started to tell me what he got up too and it did sound like he had a really good time which I was glad about and while I was listening to Seth, Gerard and the woman talked and when Seth finished talking, Gee and the woman had stopped as well.
“See you on Tuesday since they don’t have school on Monday.” Gerard said and the woman nodded.
”Seth is welcomed back anytime, he was a dream to have.”The woman said and Gerard nodded.
”Thanks Jen see you later.” Gerard said as he turned towards me and I handed him Seth and Gerard held him close to him and we heard the door shut.

”Okay, do I have something to be jealous over Jen here?” I asked as we walked to Ma’s and Gerard laughed as he caught hold of my hand.
”Jen is a 34 year old woman who is a straight and is married with 4 kids. I happen to be a 21 year old gay man who is madly in love with another gay man and I happen to have 3 gaybies with him.” Gerard said and I laughed which made Seth look at us and Gerard looked at Seth.
”Shoulders daddy.” Seth said and Gerard picked him up and put him on his shoulders.
”Hold on, Don’t cover my eyes as I need to see.” Gerard said and Seth put his hands round Gee’s neck.
”I’m taller than papa daddy.” Seth said and Gerard chuckled.
”Doesnt take much to be taller than papa.” Gerard said and I glared at him.
“Anyway, she could been hitting on you.” I said and Gerard shook his head.
”Did I fail to mention she’s a married 34 year old who has 4 kids and is straight?” Gerard said in a sarcastic way.
”No you didn’t fail to mention.” I said as I caught hold of Gerard’s hand again which he allowed me too do.
“Anyway, why would I hit on somebody else when I have a family and a boyfriend who is currently acting like a child.” Gerard said.
”I’m not acting like a child.” I said with a pout.
”Seth is papa acting like a child?” Gerard asked Seth.
”Yeah. You love papa don’t you daddy?” Seth asked I couldn’t help but smile.
”Yeah I love him a lot Seth.” Gerard said with a smile on his face.
”We going to see Rella and Nix round Nonna and grumpy?” Seth asked.
”Yes we are, is that okay?” I said and Seth nodded as Gerard took him down from his shoulders.
”Your bum is very boney young man.” Gerard said and Seth giggled slightly and he caught hold of mine and Gerard’s hand and we went to ma and dads.

We got tom Ma and dads and we could tell they had Rella round as the place looked like a bombsite and Rella was shouting as loud as she could.
”She always this loud?” Dad asked as he handed Phoenix over to Gee while Seth went over to dad and he picked Seth up and gave him a cuddle.
”Yeah she is, want to keep her?” I said and Gerard smacked my chest and glared at me.
”What you was saying the other day she was a gobshite and that we was going to ship her round here for some quite time at home.” I said.
”Well you can look after her and the other 2 for a full day and see how you cope and then you’ll wonder why I said that.” Gerard said as he looked at Phoenix.
”He wasn’t no better, both of them kids have a good set of lungs on them.” Dad said and I couldn’t help but chuckle as Gerard held Phoenix up.
”What’s he saying about you baby?” Gerard said and kissed Phoenix as I stole him from Gerard.
”Speaking of the little madam where is she?” Gerard asked as he looked round and before dad could speak Rella came running round the corner losing her balance and fell on the floor which made her start to cry and Gerard went over and picked her up and held her close to him while he whispered sweet nothings to her as she sobbed into his chest as he walked into the sitting room where I guess Ma and Seth was.
”You need to put a ring on him because you are not going to get another man like him. And you have 3 beautiful children as well. Better not throw it all away Franklin, never going to find a man like him again.” Dad said and I frowned at him and moved Phoenix a little so he was a bit more comfortable.
”Well it is a plan which is getting there slowly but we have the terrors running around it’s a bit hard to find the right moment to ask him. Anyway he’s 21, I hardly doubt he wants to be tied down to me at that age.“ I said and looked at Phoenix.
”He loves you and you are Seth’s dad as well now. I can see that Gerard isn’t someone who gives his trust easily to people when it involves the kids. You have his love and trust and 3 beautiful children with him. If you don’t have to put a ring on him soon then I’ll set your mother on the case and she’ll have a ring put in him.” Dad said and I looked at him.
”Thought you and Ma didn’t want me to marry at a early age after what happened to Erica.” I said.
”Yeah well your sister was 19 at the time and you are 24. You also have more sense than your sister.” Dad said which made me chuckle.
”And yet I have 2 kids because I didn’t cover it while fucking Gee.” I said and Gerard walked round the corner.
”You better not be talking to your father about our sex life in front of Nix.” Gerard said as he walked over with Rella snuffling still in his arms.
”Now why would I do that?” I asked and Gerard rolled his eyes at me.
”Because I know you would. Don’t corrupt our son, he’s too young to be hearing those things.” Gerard said and he rubbed Rellas back.
”Aren’t you going to see your mother? She is asking for you.” Gerard said and I sighed and followed Gee to the sitting room where Ma was having cuddles with Seth.
”About time too Franklin.” Ma said and I rolled my eyes and sat next to Gee and cuddled into his side the best I could since we both had a child each.

By the time we got home all 3 of the kids was asleep and Gee had put Rella and Phoenix in the pram together so I could push it while Gerard carried Seth.
”Let me put him to bed and I’ll give you a hand.” Gerard said quietly and I nodded as I picked Rella up who sighed loudly which made me freeze and Gerard chuckled quietly.
”She’s flat out, nothing is going to be waking her up.” Gerard said quietly and I checked on Phoenix who looked like he was waking up but neither me or Gerard minded as he was no trouble really so I went to put Rella to bed.
Once she was put to bed I went back out to the sitting room and picked Phoenix up and I went to get him ready for bed and once I did that I went back in the sitting room and sat down and started to have cuddles with Phoenix while looking for something to watch on tv.
”You want his bottle?” Gerard asked as he walked in with a bottle which made Phoenix look at him and there was a smile on his face which made me smile.
”Can give him a go if not then we’ll probably be up at some point to feed him.” I said and took the bottle from Gerard and offered it to Phoenix which he took which made me smile and Gerard sat down next to me and rested his head on my shoulder as he watched Phoenix have his bottle.
”You Okay baby?” I asked and Gerard nodded.
”Yeah, just thinking that’s all.” Gerard said quietly and offered Phoenix his finger which Phoenix took and looked at Gerard.
”Want to talk about it?” I asked and Gerard sighed loudly.
”Just about the fact I was pregnant again but now I’m not. It’s a strange feeling I feel at the moment.” Gerard said quietly.
”If you want another one all you had to do is say.” I said and Gerard smiled.
”Too soon to try for another one. Wait until little man here is older then we can try again. But right now you are keeping that covered when we do anything.” Gerard said as he circled his hand above my crouch which made me chuckle.
”You could always do me.” I said and Gerard looked at me.
”Please, I like bottom way too much to give that up.” Gerard said and I laughed.
“Don’t I know about it.” I said and I looked at Gerard and Gerard lent over and kissed me which I returned and I looked down and saw Phoenix was falling asleep.
”Go find a film and I’ll put little man to sleep.” I said quietly.
”Watch a film in bed, Can’t be bothered to drag myself from the sofa to bed.” Gerard said and I chuckled and lent over and kissed him.
”Whatever floats your boat baby.” I said and Gerard smiled as we both got up and while I put Phoenix to bed I heard Gerard check on Seth and Rella and then him going to our room shutting the door softly behind him.
Since Phoenix was now going through the night he was sharing a room with Rella which Gerard wasn’t really happy about but we couldn’t keep Phoenix in our room but they was pretty much both the same at night, they either sleep through it or spend most of it awake so they was perfect to share a room with.
I made sure Phoenix was comfy and since Gerard checked on Seth and Rella I went back to our room.

”So that’s all the kids out of it, What’s the plan tonight honey.” I said as I jumped on the bed making Gerard giggle as he rolled over to face me.
”Cuddles and movie night.” Gerard said and I smiled and kissed the end of his nose.
”Then my Prince Charming will have just that.” I said and Gerard smiled.
”If anyone is the Prince Charming then it’s you putting up with me and the kids.” Gerard said and I moved and pushed Gerard onto his back and I sat on him and kissed him.
”Na, you’re my Prince Charming and you always will be.” I said and Gerard smiled.
”If I was to ask you if you wanted a ring on your left finger what would you say?” I asked.
”Well rings on fingers literally mean nothing to me, but I’m guessing you are talking about a engagement ring or something of that nature, on which I would have to say yes too that question.” Gerard said and I smiled wide.
”Wait where you asking me?” Gerard asked and I chuckled and kissed Gerard’s forehead and rolled off him and Gerard moved and cuddled into my side.
”No I wasn’t asking, Christ have a bit of faith in me to make it a bit more romantic than this.” I said and Gerard chuckled and kissed my chest.
”I have faith in you to wait for the right moment to ask.” Gerard said quietly.
“But it better be soon. Keep on expecting to find a ring in Phoenix nappy or Rella’s training pants.” Gerard said and I laughed.
”That is just nasty especially if little man shits himself.” I said and Gerard laughed as well.
“So no ring inside a nappy then?” Gerard asked and looked at me.
”I’m saying nothing. My lips are sealed until I ask you the question.” I said and Gerard pouted and I kissed him which Gerard returned.
“Your missing the film.” I said as Gerard smiled and gently traced his finger over my cheek.
”Can’t stop looking into your eyes.” Gerard said softly.
”Why’s that?” I asked.
”I feel like I’ve found my home, my safety net.” Gerard whispered and I smiled.
Herard got himself comfy again and he settled down and before I could say anything I felt Gerard’s breaths even out and when I looked at him amen he had fallen asleep which made me smile again as I pulled the covers over us and Gerard sighed loudly and he moved away from me and sighed and I moved over and cuddled him and I felt Gerard look for my hand and when he found it he linked our hands together.
I watched some more of the film before I fell asleep as well.
