Never been better

Gerard's POV

I woke up and found myself alone in bed and I could hear Seth laughing from the sitting room.
I sat up and got out of bed quickly and headed towards the sitting room.
When I got there Seth was sat next to Frank eating some toast and watching children's programs.
Frank turned round and he smiled when he saw me.
I smiled back and went to the bathroom to pee.
I looked at myself in the mirror as I washed my hands and I looked like shit which made me groan and I just shook my head and went to dry my hands and walk back out to the sitting room.

I looked at the time and saw it was 11 in the morning.
"Oh my god, Frank I'm so sorry. I must of over slept." I said and Frank chuckled as he got up and walked over to me since I was stood in the kitchen and running my hands through my hair.
"Hey, it's fine. I have nothing better to do with my time to be honest and you was exhausted last night. You can't keep on running on empty Gerard. You're going to make yourself ill." Frank said.
"I've been running on empty for the last 4 years and it's not going to stop anytime soon." I said and turned round and waited for the kettle to boil.
"You don't have to live like this Gee, it is clear you need help. Your not going to get it from your family so you need your friends." Frank said and I just shook my head.
"I have no choice Frank. My parents threw me out when I was 16 all because I am gay and was pregnant with Seth. I have no friends Frank, if I'm not at college then I am at work trying to get money so I don't get kicked out here or college. I hardly spend any time with Seth because I am too busy trying to keep my head above water and I can't, I am drowning but I have nobody to tell and I can't act like something is wrong because of Seth." I ranted and turned round and looked at Frank.
"They'll take him away from me. Seth is the only thing which gets me out of bed in the morning, he's the only one who can put a smile on my face. If I lose him then I might as well be dead." I said and looked down and walked out the kitchen forgetting about my coffee and I went to my bedroom and lead on my bed with my back to the door.

"Daddy?" I heard Seth say as he wondered into my room.
"Come here Seth, daddy just want some space." I heard Frank say.
I sniffed and rolled over to see Seth stood by the side of the bed and Frank by the door.
"It's fine. I could do with Seth cuddles anyway." I said and moved a little and patted the space in front of me and Seth climbed on the bed and cuddled into my chest.
"Would you like a coffee and something to eat?" Frank asked.
"Yes to the coffee but no to something to eat." I said.
"Okay, how do you have your coffee." Frank said.
"Black two sugars." I said and I heard Frank walk out the room.
"You okay daddy?" Seth asked as he messed with my top.
"I'm fine, just some stuff on my mind." I said quietly.
Frank came back in and put my coffee on my bedside table.
"You haven't got much food in Gee, want me to go and do some shopping for you?" Frank said and I shook my head.
"No, I was going to do some today anyway." I said and moved and sat up and put Seth on my lap.
"You mind if I tag along?" Frank asked and I looked at him.
"I don't need you to keep an eye on me, I know how to look after myself and Seth." I said.
"I know, just want to be a friend and help and be someone you can talk to." Frank said and I smiled.
"Thanks Frank." I said quietly.
"Right monkey, you need to go to the toilet and go and get dressed." I said and tickled Seth's side which made him giggle and fall off my lap.
"Go on." I chuckled and Seth got of the bed and he went to the toilet and I got off the bed and went to Seth's room and put some clothes out on his bed and went to my room and got dressed.

Seth was sat in the trolley and me and Frank was talking.
"So his other dad wa to nothing to do with him?" Frank asked.
"Nope, says he doesn't want his wife to find out he has gotten someone pregnant and the fact I'm a guy. Anyway I don't really care, I was just his fling. I just happened to get up the duff." I said and Frank chuckled and I got some food and put it in the trolley.
"I don't understand why, he's a darling. If he was my kid I would be proud to show him off. " Frank said and I looked at him and smiled.
"Seth sit down otherwise you'll fall over." I said and Seth put his arms up in the air.
I went to move but Frank got to Seth before me.
"I got this." Frank said and picked Seth up and put him in the floor.
"You trying to prove something to me?" I asked and Frank smiled.
"Well let's just say if you see how good I am with Seth then maybe I'm in for a shot with you." Frank said and I smiled and chuckled.
"You might be. Who knows, if Seth likes you then you'll probably be more in for a shot." I said and Seth smiled widely.
"Want to hold my hand or Franks?" I asked Seth and Seth looked at Frank.
"Him." Seth said and pointed to Frank.
"Seth, his name is Frank. But you are right about him being a boy." I said and Frank chuckled.
I just rolled my eyes and carried on shopping.

Me and Frank was sat in a park since Seth was full and of energy thanks to Frank giving him Pepsi which makes Seth really hyper.
"You can deal with him tonight." I said as I sat down and Frank joined me.
"That's fine with me." Frank said and pulled a his packet of cigarettes.
"You can also have him on the sofa with you." I said as I looked at the packet of cigarettes.
Frank chuckled and pulled a cigarette out and place it between my lips and he got his lighter and lite my cigarette for me and I moaned as I had a toke.
"Christ, why did I stop." I said and Frank chuckled.
"Been a while since you had a cigarette I take it." Frank said.
"It's been about 9 weeks since I last had one. It's my treat to myself when I have enough money." I said and Frank smiled a little.
I was about to say something when I heard a child cry and recognized it as Seth so I got up and headed towards the sound and I found Seth on the floor.
I got down to his level and picked him up and looked him over.
"What happened baby?" I asked and saw that he had cut his hands and his knees and had a scrape on his chin.
"I was pushed over." Seth sobbed and wrapped his arms round my check and I held him close and I stood up and walked back down over to Frank while Seth was still crying.
"What happened to little man?" Frank asked.
"Sme kid pushed him over. Now he looks like he's been through the wars." I said and put Seth down and I sat down where Seth sat on my lap and whimpered into my chest.
"Shell we go home and clean you up and watch films?" I said and Seth nodded.
I looked at Frank.
"Want to come round?" I asked and Frank smiled and nodded.
"Yeah, if that's okay with you." Frank said.
"Yeah, it's nice to have company and have someone the same age as me." I said and Frank smiled.
"Come on the guys, let's go home." I said and stood up.
"You okay carrying the shopping while I carry him?" I asked and Frank nodded.
"Yeah it's fine." Frank said and he picked the shopping up and I picked Seth up and we walked back to mine.

"Don't you have a home to go home to?" I asked as I looked down at Seth who was fast asleep on my lap with his head resting on my chest.
"I do, but I'm not very welcomed there." Frank said.
"Hey, your more than welcome to stay here with me and Seth." I said and Frank smiled.
"You sure? I don't want to be a bother to you." Frank said.
"Yeah, as long as I pay my rent, my landlord doesn't care." I said and Frank smiled.
"I'll pay a bit towards rent and food." Frank said and I smiled.
"You don't have to." I said.
"I'm not staying here and not paying my way. Also you need help and I am willing to help you." Frank said and I smiled.
"I'm going to put little man to bed. I'll be back in a second." I said and stood up and put Seth to bed and walked back to the sitting room.
"Since I have no spare duvets, you either sleep out here with no duvet or you share a bed with me." I said and Frank chuckled.
"I don't mind sharing the bed." Frank said and I smiled with a yawn.
"Well I'm going to bed, you can either join me or come later." I said and stood up and Frank did the same as he turned the tv off.
"I was joking about you joining me, you didn't have to." I said and Frank shrugged his shoulders.
"I want to." Frank said and I smiled and I walked to my room with Frank following.

I took my top off because I seriously didn't care if Frank saw.
"Fuck Gee, your really skinny." Frank said and I turned round and saw Frank topless and covered in tattoos.
"It's nothing." I said as I looked down and realized I was stood in my pants and I could feel Franks eyes on me.
"It's something Gee, you must be on the verge of a eating disorder." Frank said and I sighed.
"I would rather not talk about it okay." I said quietly and climbed into bed.
"Gee your ribs are showing." Frank said and joined me in bed.
"Frank, please. I don't want to talk about this." I said and Frank sighed and he dropped the subject.
"I'm here if you ever need to talk to someone Gee." Frank said and I just nodded and hummed so Frank knew I heard him but I was falling asleep way to quickly to respond to him.
