Never been better

Gerard's POV

Rella has been home a week and she appears to be a good baby which I was pleased about.
Me and Frank take it in turns to do the night feeding although we only have to get up a couple times a night to sort her out.

"So are you up for my parents coming round to see Rella?" Frank asked as he wrapped his arm round my waist as I fed Rella.
"Don't want anyone to see her." I said quietly and I looked at Rella who's eyes was just fixed on me.
"People are going to have to see her at some point babe." Frank said and I smiled.
"I know, I was only messing anyway. You parents can come over and see her. Don't forget that we do have Seth here as well, just don't focus on Rella all the time. I'm thinking that Seth is feeling left out." I said and Frank kissed my cheek.
"Well I was thinking that we can have a family meal of pizza tonight and we can watch films and we can all cuddle on the sofa. Sound good to you?" Frank said and I smiled.
"I like that idea." I said and Frank kissed me.
"When your parents coming over? I was thinking you can deal with them and with little miss here and I spend some time with Seth." I said.
"They'll be over in a hour, but if you want to do that then you can." Frank said and I smiled and looked down and Rella and felt really sad all of a sudden.
"Baby what's the matter?" Frank asked seriously.
"She's being treated so differently. I never wanted my children to be treated differently." I said as I put Rella's bottle on the side as I started to burp her.
"Gee, she's a newborn baby course everyone is going to treat her differently." Frank said and I looked at him hard.
"I understand that. But since Rella has been here I hardly ever see Seth anymore. I bet you when your parents come round they are going to shower her in gifts and completely forget about Seth." I ranted.
"Gee, Gee you need to calm down okay. Yes they probably will shower her in gifts but I will say to them that Seth is their grandson as much as what Rella is their granddaughter, might not be by blood but Seth is my little boy as well. I understand you feel frustrated about this because I do as well. Hey, how about I go out and get Seth some gifts so he doesn't feel left out." Frank said and I smiled but that soon went when I felt a wet patch on my shoulder which made me pull a face.
"She spat up me hasn't she?" I asked Frank as I turned round.
"Yeah she has." Frank said as he chuckled.
"Cheers little miss." I said and kissed her cheek.
"But yeah I think Seth will like that." I said and Frank smiled and kissed my cheek.
"I'll be back before they arrive." Frank said quietly and he grabbed his keys and wallet and walked out the door.

"Gee, Frank she's gorgeous." Linda said as she had her share of cuddles with Rella.
Seth had wondered out and I looked over my shoulder and saw him walking back towards his room.
"I'll be back in a second." I said quietly to Frank and kissed his cheek and went to Seth room.
I looked round and couldn't see him but I knew he was in the tent.
I peered in the opening and saw Seth cuddling his blanket.
"Can I come in?" I asked and Seth nodded and I climbed in the tent.
"Come here baby." I said and opened my arms out and Seth crawled over and sat in my lap and I held him close to me and kissed the top of his head.
"I know, it feels like me and Frank want nothing to do with you but we do. Babies take a lot of time up and I'm sorry if you feel like me and Frank have pushed you away. It's not the case baby I'm sorry you feel like this." I said and I covered him in kisses.
"Stop daddy." Seth giggled and pushed my face away.
"Your my little prince, you know that." I said and Seth nodded and hugged me which I returned.
"If you go out to the sitting room there maybe some present for you." I said and Seth smiled and he ran out of the tent.
I don't know why but I just broke down into tears before I could even stop myself.

"Gee, Gee where are you?" I heard Frank say and I couldn't speak so I just sniffed loudly and I heard Frank walk over to the tent and he crawled into the test and he pulled me into his side and he kissed the top of my head.
"What's the matter baby?" Frank asked.
"I..I..I let Seth down after saying to him nothing would change after Rella came but it has, he was getting pushed away a..a..and I can't do nothing about it. I'm letting him down so badly Frank." I sobbed and put my hands to my face and cried and Frank held me closer.
"You haven't let Seth down. Having a baby around the house is going to make things change." Frank said softly and kissed the top of my head.
"I'm sorry, you shouldn't see me like this." I sniffed and moved away from Frank but he pulled me back to his side.
"Don't say sorry. I don't what you look like, Christ you looked worse while you was in labour and I didn't run off and I'm not running off now." Frank said and made me look at him.
"Your gorgeous, you know? And you have 2 beautiful children." Frank said and kissed the end of my nose and pulled a face.
"But you having snot running out of your nose is not attractive and I have a mouth full of snot to prove it." Frank said and I couldn't help but chuckle.
"You could always give it back if you don't want it." I said and Frank just opened his mouth and he must of swallowed it.
"Now that's fucking disgusting." I said and sniffed as I slap his chest playfully.
"Only do it for you." Frank said and I rolled my eyes and Frank kissed me again.
"You going to come out and see the in laws or am I having to face my parents myself." Frank said.
"I just need to wash my face and I'll be out with you." I said quietly and Frank nodded and I went to get out but Frank pulled me into his lap.
"Can't have sex until I'm healed." I said and I felt Frank pout against my neck.
"That's shit, I wanted to cheer you up." Frank said quietly.
"Having cuddles in bed later will cheer me up enough." I said quietly and Frank nodded and he let me go.
"I'll be back in a second." I said and I crawled out the tent and went to mine and Frank's room and washed my face.

Everyone had gone and we was all bundled on the sofa watching Toy Story. Frank was feeding Rella while Seth was cuddled into my side.
"Can I feed her?" Seth asked Frank and Frank looked at me for permission like he normally does if Seth asks to have anything to do with Rella.
"Course you can. Go and sit by Frank then." I said and watched them.
"Hold the bottle, not to high though. That's it well done Seth." Frank said and he looked at me and smiled at me which I returned.
Rella turned her head away after a couple of minutes and she just screamed the place down and she made Seth jump since he fell on his bum.
"Well someone has a good set of lungs, what is wrong with her?" Frank said and looked at me.
"I don't know, pass her over." I said and Frank passed her over and I started to burp her hoping this would work but knowing my luck this wasn't going to be the answer.
While screaming her head off Rella burped and brought most of her bottle back up.
"Cheers child, much love." I said as I passed her over to Frank and took my top off.
"Smell her nappy." I said and Frank did that and shook his head.
"Hasn't shit herself." Frank said and Seth looked at me.
"Papa said a bad word." Seth said.
"He certainly did. Just pop her in her Moses basket and let her cry that way she'll tire herself out, hopefully." I said and Frank nodded and he walk towards our room.
"She's so loud." Seth said and I couldn't help but chuckle and I sat down and Seth cuddled into my side again.
"She certainly is isn't she." I said and kissed the top of his head and Frank returned and I could hear Rella scream without the baby monitor.
"You sure she's going to be okay screaming her head off?" Frank asked.
"Yeah, it's better for her to scream her head of and tire herself out than us smothering her." I said.
"But she's so loud though daddy." Seth said and head butted my side.
"Amd I can say exactly the same to you young man." I said and tickled his sides which made him laugh.
"Right settle down and watch the film okay." I said and picked Seth up and put him on my lap and I moved over to Frank and cuddled into his side.

I had put Seth to bed and I went into mine and Franks room being quiet since Rella was in our room.
I walked over and checked in Rella and she was sound asleep with her arms above her head.
"Told you she would tire herself out." I whispered and walked over to Frank and wrapped my arms round his shoulders.
"Until she moves out we're not having sex. I'm not having my daughter hearing us." Frank said.
"But its perfectly okay to have sex with our son in hearing distance." I said and Frank smirked.
"We're not talking about this because I want you so badly right now." Frank said and I nipped his ear and walked off talking my trousers off and went in the shower.
When I came out Frank had the tv on quietly and was in bed.
I climbed in and cuddled into his side.
"Who's on night duty tonight?" Frank asked.
"I am." I yawned and felt my eyes getting heavy.
"Well you've had a tough day so I'll do the night duty tonight. You're bushed as well so sleep well my love and I'll see you in the morning." Frank said and he kissed my forehead and I fell asleep.
