I'm going to kill Jay.

This had been the on going thought in my head for the last fifteen minutes as I tried to manoeuvre my car on the streets of Belleville, New Jersey using the terrible directions he had written down.
I loved my brother, I really did, but sometimes, I really fucking wanted to kill him.
As I started finally recognizing the street signs and overly stupid land markers he had given me, I noticed a small diner off to the side.

I quickly pulled over and made my way inside to grab coffee. I wasn't sure how many people were going to be at the studio when I arrived so I quickly flipped open my phone, texting Jay, in hopes he wouldn't be too distracted to answer.


Jess: how many coffees should I get?


I stared at my phone impatiently for what seemed like forever waiting for his response.
A older women with grey hair, stood behind the counter with a menu in hand waiting to take my order. I finally gave up waiting for his response and placed my phone back in my pocket.
"Welcome to Joes, what can I get for you doll?". Her thick New Jersey accent coming through with every word she spoke.
Unsure I reply "Uhm, I'll have eight coffees to go please, and if possible some creamers and sugars in a bag?" The woman nodded her head politely and began to start filling up styrofoam cups to go.

After I handed her the money, I began to make my way slowly to my car, balancing two trays of coffee as well as a bag of creamers and sugars in my small hands. I gently place the coffees on the floor of my worn out car and swiftly closed the door mentally patting myself on the back for not spilling anything in the process.
Approximately ten minutes after I pull out of the diner parking lot and back onto the road, I see the name of the street I was supposed to turn on to. I slow down as I start to scan the houses for the correct number in which my brother and his friends would be.

"Bingo" I exclaim to myself as I see the number of which I was looking for. As I slow to a stop and get out of my car I notice a guy, about my height, with dreads standing outside smoking a cigarette.

Never being shy, I quickly call out to him to see if he will help me with the coffees. "Hey, excuse me, do you mind helping me with these?" I say while pulling out the two trays of coffee from my passenger seat.

The guy looks at me confusingly, yet makes his way over to where I am standing. "Do you always ask random guys for help carrying coffee?" He asks with a slight laugh. "Only ones with dreads." I quickly say back while handing him a tray. "Touché, is one of these for me?" He asks while pulling one of the coffees off of the tray and looking at it contently. "Depends" I respond while closing the door behind me. The guy, whose name I still don't know, looks at me with an amused yet confused look. "Depends on what?"

Before I could answer I hear an overly loud, yet recognizable voice, from the front door.
"Jess! Finally! And you brought coffee, thank you!" My brother exclaims as he makes his way over to me and the mystery guy I left hanging.

"Happy to see you too Jay." I say, hugging him with one arm, while he grabs the coffee tray out of my hand. My brother then turns and looks at the guy standing next to me with dreads and then swiftly turns his head, looking back towards me smiling. Jay then using his free hand points back and forth motioning between the both of us.


"Frank, I see you have met my little sister Jess! Jess this is Frank Iero."

Hopefully you all like where the story is progressing.

I want to make this story as realistic as possible, and not rush anything.

As you see I am also slightly trying to stick to the My Chemical Romance accurate timeline the best I can.

Hopefully I will be updating later today or tomorrow!
