Safe me from myself.

Frank's POV

"If that little bastard comes near you or anyone else you tell me and the pricks will be in hospital." I said seriously to Gerard who was looking down as we got to the school.
"Baby please, you have to tell me if something happens to you." I said softly and made Gerard look at me.
"I'll tell you but I don't want you to be sent away." He said quietly.
"I won't be sent away." I said and Gerard smiled a little.
"Promise?" Gerard whispered and held his little finger out and I linked my little finger round his and kissed him.
"I promise." I said quietly and Gerard hugged me and I just held him until the bell went where me and Gerard reluctantly let go off each other.
"You have my number if you need me." I said quietly and Gerard nodded.
"I'll see you later." I said and kissed him and Gerard looked at the school and slowly walked towards the school.
I watched him until I knew he was in the building and walked off.

I was at home making myself something to eat and listening to music as loud as I could since I was home alone.
I heard the front door open and I turned round and saw Mikey.
Me and Mikey didn't really see eye to eye but he looked like he'd been running and he looked really worried and scared.
"They got to him Frank." Mikey said quickly.
"Who?" I asked confused.
"Gerard's bastard of an ex. They did something and Gerard is literally flipping out and nobody can go near him." Mikey said quickly and I downed tools and followed Mikey to the school.

I followed Mikey through the school corridors which felt weird to me since I haven't been in a school for a few years.
"Move." Mikey said loudly and I followed him pushing people out the way.
"Everyone needs to leave as this isn't helping him, its just stressing him even more." I said to Mikey and he nodded and got everyone to move away.
"Babe its me." I said softly and put my hand on Gerard's knee which he moved away from me.
"Gerard it's Frank. I'm not going to hurt you." I said hoping this might work.
Gerard sniffed and looked at me.
His eyes was red and puffy from cry. His pale skin was tear stained and had cuts over his cheeks and his lip was busted and he had a black eye forming.
I didn't want to think what the rest of his body looked like.
"They wouldn't stop, I asked them too stop." Gerard said quietly and I moved and sat next to him and pulled to my side where he started to cry again.
It broke my heart seeing him like this.
I kissed the top of his head and wrapped my arms round him and rocked myself side to side.
"I'm sorry I wasn't here for you Gee." I said quietly.
"Y..Y..Your h..h..here now." Gerard sobbed into my side.
Mikey showed up and Gerard tensed up a lot.
"The police and ambulance are on their way." Mikey said quietly.
I just nodded and Mikey smiled and walked off while my full attention went to Gerard who was crying into my side.

I don't know how long it had been but I looked up and saw a police officer and a paramedic walking towards me and Gerard.
I looked at Gerard and he was sniffing and messing with my jacket.
"Hello, I'm Lucy and I'm a paramedic." The lady said and I looked at the police officer feeling myself getting ready to protect Gerard.
"I'm officer Bailey. I just want a statement from Mr Way and get his side of the story." Officer Bailey said.
Gerard tended and shook his head moving as close as he could to me.
"Maybe later, right now I need to try and get this young man off the floor and on the way to hospital." Lucy said to Officer Bailey.
"I'll see him later. You look after him Mr Iero." Officer Bailey said and walked off.
"What's your name then Sir?" Lucy asked and looked at Gerard, then to me.
" I'm Frank and this is my boyfriend Gerard." I said and Lucy smiled.
"Do you know what happened?" Lucy asked focusing on me since Gerard is literally attached to me and no one was going to get him of me and Gerard had also gone mute to everyone.
"I don't know as I don't go to schools. Gerard's brother Mikey might be able to shed some light on what happened." I said and Lucy nodded.
"Is there anything I need to know. Anythung Gerard is allergic too or have any problems?" She asked.
"Gerard has PTSD and he might become violent but I've never seen him get that bad." I said and Lucy nodded.
"Shell I leave you alone and see if you can get Gerard to the ambulance for me?" She asked and I nodded.
"Okay, take as long as you need." Lucy said and got up and left us.

"Shell we go to the hospital and have you checked over?" I asked and Gerard shook his head and hid his face in my arm.
"How about I come with you and I won't leave your side." I said.
Gerard still shook his head.
I moved and made Gerard look at me.
"Baby please." I said quietly and Gerard moved and pulled me into a hug which I returned.
"I need you too have yourself looked at, I need to know if your okay." I said and buried my in his neck and breathed in his scent.
"I..I'll go." Gerard whispered and I looked at him and smiled at him as I wiped some tears away from his face.
I got up and offered my hand to Gerard and he took it and I helped him up.
Once he was standing I pulled him into a hug and held him close to me.
I pulled back and looked at Gerard and kissed him softly which he returned.
"Let's go." I said quietly and held my hand out and Gerard quickly got hold of it and we walked towards the ambulance.

Gerard was asleep still holding onto my hand facing me and I just messed with his hair with a small smile on my face.
Simon came rushing into the room and I looked at him and put my finger to my lips to show him he had to be quiet.
"How is he?" Simon asked quietly.
"Shaken and beaten. His PTSD is going to be playing up for a while now." I said and looked back at Gerard.
"Was you there?" Simon asked and sat next to me.
"No, I was at home having something to eat when Mikey came rushing in saying something had happened to Gee. When I got there he didn't want anyone but me. It's still the same right now. Hence why has hand is attached to mine." I said.
"But I've stayed with him like I promised him." I said and Simon smiled.
"What's going on now?" He asked.
"Well they did a rape test in him because of what happened to him and because the bastard who did this was his ex so they want to make sure nothing happened to him. He just needs rest and the sedated him for the rest as he was a right state." I said and looked at Gerard and yawned because I was really tired as it was the middle of the night.
"Get some rest Frank." Simon said.
"This chair is too uncomfortable and Gee is hogging the bed so I have to pull the all nighter." I said and Simon chuckled.
I slipped my hand out off Gerard's and walked round the bed and pushed Gerard forward a little bit and took my shoes off and cuddled behind him and put my arm round him looking for him hand and when I found it I held onto it and I kissed the back of Gerard's neck and slowly fell asleep.
