Summary
Ok so I've been working on bits and pieces of this Killjoy fic for like... ever. Basically, I've just written this one chapter-ish thing that I'm actually really happy with and I feel like it's a good spot for a preview of sorts? I guess I just want y'all to let me know how you feel about it.
Read the character list too cuz it'll give a short set up of what's going on

Kobra Kid (Kobra)
Killjoy. Also on the council. Younger brother of Party Poison and best friends with Fun Ghoul, Jet Star, and Love Riot. After finding her in the desert and bringing her home to the Killjoys, Riot and Kobra become inseparable. While Poison kicked her ass with training all day, it was Kobra who she'd hang out with, vent to, grab a drink with afterwards. They made a hell of a team in a fight, and loved and protected each other fiercely. But, after they shared a kiss on a bet... it became clear there would be no romance between them. Will Riot be enough to keep Kobra sane with his brother gone?
Love Riot (Riot)
Killjoy. Not on the council yet, but pretty well known across the Zones. Best friends with Kobra Kid. She trained under Party Poison after he and his brother found her fighting for her life out in the desert. It was a tough relationship at first, but once she knew the ropes and had gained his trust, they started becoming really close. Now he's gone. Just like that. Riot didn't even know why he left, he just said that he'd be back within a week... that was ten days ago, and there hasn't been a sign of him yet. The council insists that everything is fine, that he'll be home soon, but will her best friend tell Riot a different story? (sn: yes i know this is my username. i've had her character in my head for ever and when i joined this site my mind blanked on usernames so i went with her lol)
Party Poison (Poison)
Killjoy. Head of the Council. Best friends with Fun Ghoul and Jet Star and older brother to Kobra Kid. It was Kobra and Poison who found Love Riot out in the desert one day, saved her life in a drac fight, and brought her back to the Killjoy's bunker. Poison took her under his wing, training her on how to be a Killjoy (how to fight and shoot... though he quickly found out she doesn't need help with that.) They were getting incredibly close when Poison had a quick mission to go on. Top secret council business, but it should only have taken a week. But after a week had passed... there was still no word from him. It's been a few days now, and he still hasn't come home.
