I'll keep you safe.
.
Frank's POV
I got the first aid box and sat in front of Gerard so I could sort his arm out.
"It might hurt as your cuts are starting scab over a little." I said quietly and looked at Gerard.
"I know." He whispered and smiled a small smile.
I smiled back at him and started to take his bandage off.
We sat in silence for a while when Gee spoke.
"Why you being so nice to me?" He asked quietly.
"Because you seem like a nice guy and I didn't like seeing you suffer outside in the cold." I said.
"There's nothing nice about me and maybe I deserve to suffer." He said.
"Don't say that Gee." I said.
He looked at me.
"You know nothing about me. For all you know I could be a murderer plotting some way if killing you in your sleep." He said seriously, too seriously.
I looked at him.
"I'm joking, but seriously you need to be careful in who you bring into your flat on a cold winter night." He said.
"Your the first person who has been homeless I have brought home with me. You should think yourself lucky." I chuckled.
Gerard smiled.
"You shouldn't help someone like me. There's a reason why we're on the streets." He said quietly.
"I don't care what the reason is on why your on the streets as long as I know your safe and warm and in my flat I don't care what your background story is." I said which made Gerard smile a bit more.
I looked back at his arm and part from the fresh cuts which he had done he also had white scars and his arm was bumpy.
I put a clean dressing and bandage on and looked at Gee.
"I'm tired." He yawned.
"Sofa or bed?" I asked.
"I'll hit the couch." He said and got himself on the sofa.
I sighed.
"Na, have my bed, its a lot comfortable than the sofa." I said and went over and picked him up and took him to my bed.
I put him down on the bed and pulled the covers over him.
"Stay with me." He said quietly.
" Course I will." I said and climbed behind him.
"Can we cuddle?" He asked gingerly and shyly.
"Of course, you don't have to ask." I said and Gee moved and I pulled him to my chest and put my arm round his waist.
"I haven't been in a bed for nearly 3 years." He said quietly.
"Is that how long you've been homeless for?" I asked.
"Yeah." He said quietly.
" Well you don't have to be on the streets anymore." I said.
I didn't get a response as all I felt was Gee's breaths evening out and him softly and quietly snoring.
I smiled and had a nap as well.
