Gerard's POV

the drive to the hospital was all a blur and when we parked in the parking lot next to the emergency room I sat there frozen.

please be okay, please be okay...

"Gerard come on, we gotta go." Mikey pulled me out of the car and somehow I made my feet start working again.

"Frank Iero" Mikey gasped to the lady at the desk. "oh, um" the lady said seconds before I heard yelling and saw my Frankie lying on a moving gurney.

Seeing him seemed to snap me back to reality, and I started running after his seemingly unconscious body.
"Gee wait!" I heard Mikey call, but ignored him.

I was close before I felt someone latch onto my arms, barely holding me back.

"P-please," I said "I need to see him." We locked eyes for a moment before one of them gave me an understanding nod and let go.

"He's awake!" I heard a nurse call as I came up next to my love. His eyes were slightly open and when he saw me he whispered "Gee"

"It's okay sweetheart, your gonna be okay." I cupped my hand around his cheek before pulling away so they could take him wherever patients go when they get pushed behind the swinging doors.

I felt Mikey next to me and grabbed his arm to steady myself "he's going to be okay" I whispered and somehow knew it was true.

Awhile later, I'm not sure how long, the doctor walked over to us. "Mikey, Gerard." He greeted before continuing. "Frank is wide awake and seems to be doing good other then a concussion and large bruises."

"Thank God," I gasped and started breathing somewhat normally again, "we can deal with a concussion and a few bruises."

"We would like to keep him overnight, possibly tomorrow night also, depending on how tomorrow goes."

Mikey and I nodded before he continued. "We would also like to run a few tests, based on the x-rays Frank Iero injuries should not have left bruises as large as they did, do you know if he bruises very easily?"

Mikey shook his head but I spoke up

"He has been over the last month, but he said before then he never had."

"I see," he said and wrote something down "we would like me Iero to rest tonight, but if you come before eleven tomorrow morning you can visit before the tests."

"Thank you so much doctor" Mikey said and led me out of the building before I could make a scene about but being able to see my tortured Fiance tonight.

"It's okay, we'll see him as soon as possible tomorrow, just get some rest." Mikey said but when we got home I couldn't get to sleep, I just lyed there in the dark, worrying about my love.
