Only One Way

Both of us were startled awake by the sound if Gerard's alarm. "I set it for five so that we would get home before Mikey woke up." "Smart" I said and sat there for a moment before the memories from last night came flooding back. Gerard proposed to me, was my first thought and my second was we absolutely have to tell Mikey now.

"morning beautiful." Gerard said and placed a soft kiss on my lips after he'd woken up some more. He moved to get dressed and told me to do the same. We'd picked up the blanket and pizza box and were soon on our way home.

"Hey Gee?" I asked "yes frankie?"Gerard asked and I replied with "We gotta tell Mikey." "I know, I was thinking tonight we could." "Okay" I said and moved to hold his hand, we drove the rest of the way in silence.

When we got back Gerard layed down on the couch and I went upstairs and slept until noon. When I finally woke up I made sure to hide my ring and went downstairs to find Mikey and Gerard watching t.v. and eating takeout. "We saved some for you." Mikey said and pecked me on the lips, I didn't kiss back.

He handed me my food and scooted closer, putting his arm on the couch behind me. I scooted away as discreetly as I could but Mikey still noticed and shot me a weird look. We didn't talk much and soon Mikey head upstairs to take a shower.

"I don't know if I can wait till tonight to tell him Gee." I said as soon as I heard the water running " we don't have to wait very long frankie, it'll be okay." He pulled me in for a hug, but started kissing my neck, I could feel his smirk against my skin. "Gerard, Mikey's gonna be back down soon." But I didn't want him to stop.

"I don't care if he catches us Frank, I want you too bad." the kisses started getting more passionate but as soon as we heard Mikey's footsteps Gerard jumped away from me. Mikey gave us a funny look but went to sit down next to me, I scooted away again and he looked a little irritated the rest of the movie.

It was eight forty five and we were all sitting on the couch again, the t.v. blaring, but I wasn't paying attention, all I could think about was how Mikey was gonna respond. I felt a movement beside me and saw mikey getting up, his phone ringing. He headed upstairs.

"we're gonna tell him when he comes back down." Gerard said and I nodded, we waited half an hour but still no Mikey. About fifteen minutes after that we decided just head up to his room. Gerard walked in and stood in the doorway. "Hey Mik-" "I'm not in the mood right now Gerard" Mikey said then walked over pushed Gerard out and slammed the door. "We'll tell him tomorrow morning." I said and Gerard nodded, kissing passionately before heading to his room.

I was in my room when Mikey came in. "Hey can I sleep in here tonight?" I didn't want to lead him on when I was just going to break up with him tomorrow so I said no. He looked hurt and walked out of my room shutting the door harder then he needed to.

He locked himself in his room the next day ignoring both Gerard and I. And we didn't get a chance to tell him.
