Sweet dreams.
Something was wrong. I was in a dream, I knew that much. People were talking. Wait. Was that Gee?
"Gerard? Gee bear?" I whispered. He turned around and his face lit up.
"Mikey! It worked! I knew if I thought of you when I went to bed with all my heart, we'd have the same dream and see each other!" Gerard pulled me into a huge hug, even for him. I laughed and hugged him back. Everything was going to be all right. Gerard was here with me.
Suddenly a thought occurred. "What about when I wake up?"
His face fell a little. "I'll still be gone Mikey. "
We talked for a while when someone walked over and slit Gerard's throat, the turned to be with a terrible grin.
"Your love is next."
I woke up and screamed for Ray. He was already there, holding my hand.
"It's okay, it's just a dream. Gerard will be fine. So will your love. I promise." He said after I told him about my dream. He had covered up the notebook he was writing in.
"What's that?" I asked.
He blushed. "Just a song. "
"Will you sing it to me when I fall asleep again?" Of course not, like anyone would do anything for you.
"Of course. Just lean back and listen." He didn't let go of my hand, or I didn't let go of his. He started singing and I drifted out of conciseness.
