That Smell

Frank's pov

I didn't sleep at all, Gerard was worrying me, he ran around the house last night and wouldn't stop. Finally the sun is coming up, Gerard stopped running around and let out a howl of pain and toppled over. I ran downstairs to the back door were Gerard was a few feet away. He cried out in pain and his bikes popped back into place. The fur going back into his body and the tail and ears shrinking back. "F-Frankie." Gerard sobbed right when he could talk, his who body shaking as he shifted back to human form. "I'm here babe." I said softly and knelt down next to Gerard, I pulled a blanket over his pale, blood covered body. "Can you walk?" I asked as his cries of pain became whimpers. "I don't know." Gerard gasped for air, his transformation was completed. I slowly picked him up bridal style, he whimpered in pain. "Sorry." I mumbled and managed to open the door while carrying him. "Hey Gerard." Mikey greeted when he saw me carrying Gerard down the stairs to his room. Gerard gave a small whimper in acknowledgment. When we got downstairs to his room I laid him on the towel I put down earlier. He laid there limply, I got the shower on for him and went back to his room. His eyes barley open as he watched me. "Shower time." I said making him groan, he didn't struggle when I picked him back up and get to the bathroom, that wasn't like him. "I think your gonna have to wash me." Gerard said sleepily as we stood in the bathroom with him still in my arms, he wasn't that heavy. I just nodded and got him in the shower, his legs shaking under him and he stood leaning against the wall so he won't fall. I slowly let go of him, he didn't fall which I was relieved. "Sorry." He mumbled as I started to wash the blood off of his chest. "Why are you sorry?" I asked looking up at him, his eyes weren't their normal color yet. "I'm sorry that you have to do this for me, and I'm sorry that I was freaking out last night. I wanted to be with you but I know you couldn't because I could've hurt you." Gerard whispered, his legs were shaking even more, I finished washing all the blood away and I cleaned his hair. "It's okay Gee, I don't mind helping you, you would do the same for me. Let's go to bed." I said turned the shower off, he just nodded sleepily, I dried him off and helped him out of the shower to his bed. I took the blood stained towel off of the bed and sat him down. I got his sweatpants and helped him into them. "Thanks." Gerard yawned and layed down practically falling asleep right away. His body shook a little, bruises were covering his stomach and back already, he was so weak. I kissed his cheek and walked upstairs, Mikey was already gone, no one was home by me and him. I went to the fridge, Gerard was going to be extremely hungry when he woke up. I made a twelve egg omelet, a whole package of bacon and half a loaf of bread. I kinda burnt the bacon because I don't meat so I didn't know how to cook it, he did tell me he liked it a little crunchy and burnt. After cooking for about an hour it was done, I covered everything and put it in the microwave so it wouldn't go cold that fast. I took some toast and went in the living room to watch some tv, my eyes started to close and I drifted into a peaceful sleep.

I heard someone in the kitchen, I liked down at my phone, it was 3:47. I slept for a long time, I was really tired because I didn't sleep at all last night. I got up and walked to the kitchen, Gerad was heating up the food that I made him hours ago. "Hey." He said turning to me, he still has no shirt on and his bruises looked even worse. "Thank you for helping me and making me food. Your amazing and I love you so fucking much." Gerard said, I walked over to him and smashed our lips together, he held on to my waist lightly. "I love you too babe." I said as I pulled away, I smiled at me and pulled his food out of the microwave and limped over to the table. He sat down slowly and flinched from the pain, I sat next to him and watched him dig in. "This is really good." Gerard said with his mouth filled with food, I hair kissed him on the cheek and watched him mow down.

Gerard hasn't been home for a couple of hours, I'm so worried about him. I called his phone but he left it here, I called Mikey and he told me that Gerard can handle himself and I didn't need to worry. He's been gone for the past five hours, he didn't even tell me he was going out. My heart jumped in my throat when the door opened. I ran to the living and stopped dead in my tracks. Gerard stood there covered in blood, it was fresh and dripped off of his coat. "Are you okay?" I said and started to freak out, I hoped none of the blood was his. Gerard dropped to his knees and started to cry, I ran over to him and fell to the ground. I pulled him into my lap not carrying that I was getting covered in the blood. "I didn't meet to do it... Please don't leave me Frank, I didn't mean to do it. I'm sorry." Gerard sobbed clinging to my shirt as he cried. "Are you hurt Gerard? What did you do, it's okay I won't be mad." I said trying to calm down, I petted his hair that had blood dripping from it. "I-I'm okay, I-I didn't mean to hurt those people Frank, it's not okay. I'm a monster." Gerard cried even harder, I relaxed when he said he was okay, where did all of this blood come from and what people?
