He's Not Dead, He Only Looks that Way.

"Do you think maybe this is your hell?"

Lindsey guided Frank to the back of the house instead of inside with Gerard following them close behind. Frank felt uncomfortable, occasionally looking over to Gerard who had his eyes set at Lindsey. The two past a demon in which Lindsey introduced. There was Frey, a short haired blonde girl with bright green eyes. Her outfit was a bit tattered and unmatched but for some odd reason, it suited her. Her actions and behavior were a bit clumsy and her talking speed was rapid.

Frey smiled and shook Frank's hand, "It's so nice to meet you-" Tripping over her shoelace, her body fell into Lindsey's arms. Frey looked up and made eye contact with Lindsey, "Thanks." She blushed. Her eyes lit immensely when Lindsey reeled her back up onto her two feet, "It's no problem."

Lindsey pulled up a chair, "Sit, Frank. We wanna hear your story."

Frank muttered as Gerard pulled up a chair next to him, "Why would you be so interested in my story?" He asked sitting down.

A man who hasn't been properly introduced with short black hair and large plugs said, "Because each story is different." When Frank continued to look at him, the man smiled, "My name's Davy." His choosing in style was more simpler than anyone else in circle, outside in the dark with only the backlight on. It was normal just like Frank's. He wore a hoodie with The Punisher's logo on the front, tight black skinny jeans, and black converse. From what Frank could tell, he was the complete opposite from Frey. He was calm, really calm and wasn't as sassy as Gerard and Lindsey were.

Frank looked down and Lindsey stepped into the conversation, "Wanna hear my story? I'm sure it'll help you tell yours."

Before Frank could reply, Lindsey started, "I was about 23 when I died. My life was consisted of sleeping around and sinning so much that the man up above and his angels scorned me even after my death." Lindsey's smile was slowly fading, "I was murdered .. I let some guy come in, attempting to steal his wallet after sleeping with him. He caught me naked digging into his wallet and well," When Lindsey realized her smile was gone and she was getting emotional, she forced a grin, "He beat me to death with my trophy that I won from middle school. I was the fastest runner in the cross country team."

It was quiet until Frey chipped in, "I died when I was 15. I never got along with my classmates so I created my own world inside my head and it let me to believe whatever I was thinking, was real." For someone who was so delusional and knew it, her smile was big and her voice was ecstatic, "I murdered my boyfriend and his sister with a kitchen knife." She paused in thought, "Now .. how did I die? Oh! Yeah! The cops they shot me down because I attempted to stab the chief of police." She giggled, "I can still feel the bullets stabbing my chest and stomach if I think back to it."

Frank stared at her before asking Lindsey, "How is she not worse than Gerard?"

Lindsey laughed, "It's not what Gerard did before he turned into a demon, it's after."

Davy's blue eyes brightened, "The shit he's done to poor families make me weak." He curled his fingers together into a fist, "I'm the oldest here. I deceased at 28." His deep and calm voice grabbed everyone's attention, "I was a fool hopelessly in love with a girl. She made me feel so happy and safe .. but apparently I got too clingy and her love for me faded as her love for someone else increased. She avoided me at all costs when we were dating. And she dumped me saying it was her, not me. She said she needed time for herself .. " Davy pulled out a pocket knife from his jeans, "The next week she texted me that she got back from a double date .. and I realized, she only dumped me to find someone better."

Gerard's eyes darkened as Davy continued, "She was .. amazing. Her smile, laugh, and body. She never failed to make me smile." Davy's blue eyes teared up, "I went to her house one day and asked to come in. She did let me in after some convincing and I tied her up. Her screams were so loud so I had to knock her out. I laid beside her and set fire to the house, allowing the flames to consume our bodies." Davy got up from the chair, "It was hard for everyone upstairs to determine whether I go up to heaven or not. And I didn't in the end result. Which is fine." Davy smiled at Frank, "I don't regret what I did. No one here does."

Frank lowered his eyes, "I did." Frank sighed, "I'm not sure but committing suicide probably made things worse. I mean, no offense but I didn't think there was an afterlife. I'm an atheist." Frank's voice got louder, "I didn't think I'd be surrounded by demons-or be owned by one."

Lindsey leaned in, "Do you think maybe this is your hell?"

The words she spoke shocked Frank, making him unable to move in his seat.

Gerard rolled his eyes, "Lindsey, stop." He turned to Frank, "You were asking for this when you jumped from the bridge."

"No. I was asking to end the suffering. It just looks like I got more even after death." Frank got up from his chair and took off.

Gerard called after him, "Where are you going?"

"Just leave me alone-" Frank's body froze when he felt a shock through his left leg. He collapsed and cried out. He stared down to his leg and saw an open wound. Blood gushed from his wound and his heart raced the longer he stared. He let out a sudden burst of cries as he noticed his bone sticking out from his skin.

Gerard walked over to him, "Haven't I taught you enough already?"

Frank could hear the laughter coming from Davy, Frey and Lindsey. Frank blocked them out and tightened his jaw as the pain overtook him. Frank held back his tears as he dragged his body across the dirt, desperate to get away from the demons behind him. A combat boot stepped on his hand, making Frank yell. He felt and heard his bones breaking as Gerard said, "You shouldn't embarrass me like that in front of my friends." Gerard sighed as Frank cried. Gerard said, "I mean, you're so fucking stubborn. I like it but it's so fucking annoying."

Frank yelled through his pain, "I'm sorry!"

Gerard retreated his boot, "What'd you say?"

Frank gulped and cried out, "I'm sorry, sorry, I'm sorry."

Gerard laughed over him, "Now that's better, baby." He kneeled by Frank's aching body, "Let's get you inside and fixed up."

Frank was asleep on the couch, recovering from the pain Gerard had caused him. It didn't hurt Frank when Gerard made Frank instantly recover, he just passed out onto the couch from the blood loss.

Gerard chugged down a bottle of beer as Lindsey stroked his hair, "Your hair is so matted." Lindsey commented. Gerard shrugged, "Who cares?"

Lindsey smiled before looking over to Frank's sleeping body from the kitchen table, "You like him."

Gerard spat out his drink, "Fuck you." He pushed her hand away, "I don't like him."

Lindsey laughed, "Are you kidding me? You would've killed him when he disrespected you. I know you too well, Gee. You can't lie to me."

Gerard gave her a disgusted look, "I'd rather tear out my own eyes than admit I like him."

"So you do?"

"I don't know." Gerard got up from his chair and walked over to Frank's body. Lindsey followed his movements and stood by him, "It's a simple question." She whispered.

"I don't have a simple answer." Gerard growled.

Lindsey smiled sweetly at Frank, "He's really cute. But not your type. You love murder, he doesn't. You two are complete opposites." Lindsey added in, "And you did break his bones-sounds like a complete turn off."

Gerard couldn't deny her words. He tilted his beer and shrugged, "And raped him."

Lindsey's eyes went wide and she smiled, "You raped him?"

"I couldn't help it! He's so fucking cute and plus, he got me mad so I had to teach him who was in control."

"Yeah, and keep doing that and he'll end up trying to kill you." Lindsey giggled.

Gerard laughed, "Yeah, sure, let's see him try."

The two shushed their laughter as Frank groaned and tossed his body over. Lindsey whispered, "So you never did tell me why you're hiding out here in this old dump."

"One name: Mikey." Gerard rolled his eyes.

"He really needs to fuck off, geesh." Lindsey added in, "Why can't he just fuck off for once?"

Gerard looked down to his beer, "He didn't just come to annoy me .. I did something."

Lindsey rose a brow, "What?"

Just about when Gerard was about to tell, Frank jolted up from his sleep and felt throughout his leg. Lindsey slouched, "Really? He wakes up now? Figures." She walked off down into the hallway as Gerard sat on the edge of the couch, "It's healed so stop freaking out."

Frank was infuriated but kept his mouth shut in fear. He had enough he thought. He decided he would play along with Gerard's games and orders but wouldn't give Gerard any pleasure of letting Gerard push him around. Frank muttered, "I'm going back to sleep."

"Whoa, whoa-that's it?" Gerard asked surprised, "You're not going to call me cruel? Tell me to fuck off?"

Frank wanted to. He wanted to so bad but instead he shook his head and laid back onto the couch.

Gerard was actually dissapointed. Gerard liked when Frank would freak out and he could play with his emotions just as the pet he was. Gerard paused in thought, "Oh, I see. You're upset because I broke your bones and made one pop out of place, ripping the skin. Am I right?"

Frank tried with every fiber in his being not to add on to the things Gerard has done to him. Gerard saw Frank tighten his grip onto the pillow in anger. Gerard was getting a little amused now, "Hey, go ahead and say what you want to say .. I promise I won't hurt you." Gerard grinned innocently before it faded away quickly because Frank didn't reply.

Gerard sighed, "Alright .. I guess I'll just leave you alone then. But you know, the couch you're laying on isn't comfortable. But the bed I'm sleeping on in the spare room is." Gerard hinted.

Frank loosened his grip on the pillow. His back was hurting. Frank sat up slowly but didn't make eye contact, "Can I sleep with you?"

Gerard suddenly felt sincere and held out his hand, "All you had to do was ask, slave."

Notes

So the next 3 chapters are going to be short stories about Frey's Davy's and Lindsey's lives before they turned into a demon. It was told in this chapter how they died, but I'm going to add more detail.
So you can either wait until Frank and Gerard come back into the story in chapter 13, or read about their lives if you're curious. They're important characters which is the reason why I'm doing this. xo
