He's Not Dead, He Only Looks that Way.

The car came to a stop on the dirt. Gerard whispered over to Frank, "Don't make too much eye contact and do not go anywhere with anyone where you two are alone. Do you understand?"

Frank raised a brow, "Are they .. demons?"

Gerard nodded before opening his car door and getting out. Frank reflected Gerard's movements and met Gerard in front of the car. Gerard gave Frank one more glance before nudging Frank to stand closer to him. When Gerard was approached by a woman, Gerard grinned, "Lindsey, baby!"

Lindsey stared at Frank who looked down to his feet, "Who the fuck is this?"

Gerard stepped in front of Frank, "My bitch." He laughed after he said his words, "Why does it matter if he's with me?"

Lindsey smirked, "He's a soul?"

As Lindsey and Gerard talked about Frank, Frank couldn't help but notice the beauty of Lindsey. She was a bit taller than Gerard with a dark shade of red lipstick, net tights underneath a black skirt, a ripped up AC/DC shirt. Her skin was a healthy pale shade and her dark brown eyes lit. She had long pigtails which suited her perfectly.

Lindsey's voice broke Frank's trance, "By the way you're lookin at me, I'd say you like what you see."

Without thinking, Frank blurted, "You're gorgeous."

Frank's body turned warm when he saw that both of Gerard's and Lindsey's eyes were staring at him. Frank looked down and Gerard swung his arm around Frank's shoulders, "He's a bit shy, as you can tell."

"Shy?" Lindsey smiled, looking at him from head to toe, "More like nervous." Lindsey averted her eyes at Frank. She stepped in front of him and tried to make eye contact, "Tell me, kid. Are you nervous? Or scared?" When Frank didn't reply, she added in, "You shouldn't be. You're already being dragged around by the worst of us. Compared to Gerard, we're mild."

Gerard blushed playfully, "Oh, Lindsey. You know how to compliment me."

Lindsey placed a hand on her hip and asked Gerard, "Why are you here?"

"We need a place to hide out for a couple days."

Lindsey smiled, "You think I'm some kind of safe haven? Last time you stayed a night here with us, you slept in the same room with me and didn't call after you left."

Frank shot a look at Gerard who laughed, "I'm gay, it's not my fault I didn't want to have sex with you."

Lindsey couldn't help but smile at Gerard, "Alright, fine. You guys can stay for a while .. " She looked at Frank once more, "And if you need some company, my door is always open."

Gerard looked at Lindsey who bit her lower lip. He turned his head to see Frank's reaction which was a small smile. Gerard felt a bit uneasy and over protective as he forced a grin, "I don't think that's going to happen. Frank's gay."

Frank frowned at Gerard, "Says who?"

Gerard paused, "You're not gay?"

"No. I'm pansexual."

Gerard felt his dark heart collapse, "Oh." He looked at Lindsey who gave Gerard a large smile, "You can't assume someone's sexuality, doofus." Lindsey pulled Frank away from Gerard who was raging of jealously. Frank's face burned red as Lindsey wrapped her arm around his waist and led him toward the house.

Gerard followed behind, telling himself that if he hadn't known Lindsey for so long, and if she hadn't always been there for him, he'd kill her. Gerard tightened his jaw as Lindsey whispered into Frank's ear, making Frank giggle a bit.
