He's Not Dead, He Only Looks that Way.

Frank wasn’t sure what is was that made the day especially beautiful. It could have been the bright sun that escaped from behind the grey clouds, or the soft wind that caressed his skin. Or perhaps it was Gerard who was sitting on his lap, kissing Frank’s neck with hot breaths in between. Frank tightened his grip on Gerard’s waist, making Gerard chuckle.

So yes, the day was especially beautiful-to Frank, that is. What he didn’t know was what Gerard was thinking in his head. His distraction was Frank, but dark images were occurring and it confused him. Gerard’s smile faded, “Hey .. I’m gonna go to the bathroom .. I’ll be back.” He kissed Frank’s forehead before getting up and heading inside. He stumbled into the bathroom and shut the door behind him. He blew out a deep breath, “I’m okay .. I’m okay .. “

Gerard sat on the floor and shoved his face into the palm of his hands. Images flashed into his head of him and Frank under the covers, chucking and touching each other’s naked bodies. And then, there was images of a dark figure reaching their hand out to him. Gerard clenched his body as the silhouette's face became more descriptive. It was a man with sunglasses, a bright smile, and full lips. It was a normal man until the images flashed. The man turned into a grey large horned monster with large eyes. The monster had sharp white fangs that smiled toward Gerard, “I’m taking back the crown.”

Gerard’s eyes shot open. His chest rose and fell quickly. He wiped the tears of sweat that flowed down his forehead. He collected himself as he stood up from the ground. Gerard faced the mirror and stared at himself. He inspected himself. Red hair, hazel eyes, pale skin. He looked innocent and sweet but why did he feel the complete opposite?
