Life Sucks, But We'll Carry On Anyway *SLOW UPDATES*

Frank's POV-

The bell finally goes for the end of school, so I unlock the cubicle and wipe off the smudged eyeliner from my crying, and make myself look more presentable.

Okay, I need to get out without any of my friends seeing me...

I open the door, and practically run to my locker, grabbing my bag out of it.

Finally, I'm away from everyone and safe.

I remember that my mom is picking me up today, which really sucks...

I plug in my earphones and sigh, waiting for her to arrive.

She finally pulls up, and I get in the car.

''Hey Melody! How's my girl?'' Mom greets.

I internally cringe, while shutting the car door.

''I'm fine'' I reply.

''What's with all that eyeliner and lip and nose ring? Thought you weren't allowed those at school.'' She challenges.

Here we go...

''We're not, but no one has told me off for them.'' I reply.

''Doesn't make it right.'' She continues.

''Let's just go home.''

She starts driving us home, then starts trying to make conversation again.

''So, how's school?''

''It's okay.'' I reply.

''Is my brother still getting married to his boyfriend... Ben? is it?'' I ask mom.

She sighs, ''Yes. They are getting married.''

''Are we invited to the wedding?''

''Yes, but I'm not going.'' She says.

''Why?''

''Because, their relationship is wrong.''

''But what If I want to go?!''

''If you can somehow organise it, fine but I'm not taking you.''

''Whatever'' I mumble.

I get a text on my phone from Mandy.

I open my phone and see what's up.

Mandy- Melody, you okay? I have something to tell you.
Me- What is it?
Mandy- Evelyn wants to ask you out.
Me- Doesn't she have a boyfriend?
Mandy- They broke up
Me- They didn't even last a day though...
Mandy- I don't know! Ask her about it! Anyway, she likes you.
Me- How do you know?
Mandy- She told me
Me- Are you bullshitting me?
Mandy- I promise I'm not
Me- Whatever, if it's legit, she will tell me tomorrow at school
Mandy- okay

Even though I was acting like I didn't care to Mandy, I was actually really happy, I never thought in a million years Evelyn would like me...

I really hope Mandy isn't bullshitting me...

I still don't really want to go to school though, because I'll have to deal with Gerard and Grace...

Oh well, at least Evelyn will be there...

''Why are you smiling?'' Mom knocks me out of my thoughts.

I panic, not knowing what to say, so I say the first thing that comes to mind, ''Bands''

She rolls her eyes.

''You wanted to know!'' I defend myself.

''You should really start making friends, I know you say you're awkward, but the only way to get over that is to make friends.''

''I have friends.''

''What, like one?''

''No, actually I have 3.''

''If you say so.''

We finally arrive at mom's place and I get out the car, and plug my earphones in.

The reason why I hate coming to my mom's house is because we always end up arguing...
