Interference *SLOW UPDATES*

(the title Interference because when frerard happens, obv their mental illnesses ''interfere'' with their relationship :3)

~Warning- contains death/getting over someone's death, mental illness such as bipolar disorder, ocd, hoarding, anxiety, schizophrenia, and a few others may be included. As well as (maybe) self harm, suicide, smut, and definitely swearing.

GERARD~~
Gerard has a younger brother, Mikey. Mikey died when Gee was 9, Mikey was only 5 at the time, he got really ill because he was born so early, it's lucky even their mom survived.Gerard and Mikey were very close, nothing could separate them, but obviously Gerard being so young didn't understand that Mikey was dying, and actually believed that Mikey was still alive after he had passed. This, obviously worried his parents really bad, and Gee ended up being diagnosed with bipolar disorder, for his sudden mood swings, and having hallucinations of his dead brother. Gerard becomes self destructive due to frustration that no one can see Mikey. Mikey is the only one who can talk him out of doing anything bad. Gerard is always happy around Mikey, despite his bipolar.

Gee's past- Pretty good, he was really close to his parents and bro. The only thing he hated was school. When Mikey died, his dad went crazy alcoholic, blaming his mom for giving birth too early as well as blaming Gerard for being alive instead of Mikey. Mikey was the only one Gerard's dad truly loved, as they bonded over the same sports, and Gerard and his mom both hated sports. Although, Gerard is terrified of his dad, he doesn't understand why his dad wants Mikey alive, when he in fact is. Gee's parents decide to put him in a mental asylum when Gee was 17 due to a massive episode, and that is where he meets Frank :3

FRANK~~
Frank has been in a mental asylum since he was 12 years old, for severe hoarding of his comic books which may sound stupid, but to Frank his comic books meant the world and he thought that if anyone even so much as lay a finger on one of his precious books, that they would forver be ruined. He takes the comics everywhere he goes, and if someone dares to threaten them, he will go crazy, before rushing somewhere to flip through each individual page to make sure that his comics are in face not harmed. Frank also has ocd, which included the flicking through the comics every night making sure they were okay, as well as not being able to step on any cracks, because he thinks if he does the crack will suck him up into the ground, he has to have a routine, because he thinks if he doesn't do everything at a certain time something bad will happen and it would be his fault. Lastly, for Frank's ocd is he has to continuously wash his hands and his hands are his most protected aside from his comics of course, his hands remain in thick black leather gloves which he only removes to actually wash his hands, and when he goes to bed, so he is protected from everyone else's filthiness. Change, heights, dirt, going outside, needles (because of the ''germs'' and chemicals), people taking/touching his books/hands are Frank's biggest fears. He also hoards guitar picks, papers, and stones that he likes.

Frank's past- Was horrible due to his ocd and hoarding. His dad tried to help as much as possible but his mom was annoyed and pissed off about it and tries to make it as hard as possible for him to fulfill his every day routine, but she knows her limits, like she learnt the hard way with attempting to move Frank's comics, but she can move his other items around and Frank will still be pissed, but no where near as bad as with the comics. Frank hates his mom for this, but he loves his dad. Frank was obviously bullied for his weird habits but he doesn't care as long as no one messes with his stuff or routines, he couldn't give 2 shits about anyone else's opinions. Frank enjoys reading his comics and playing guitar.

OCD- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a disorder of the brain and behavior. OCD causes severe anxiety in those affected. OCD involves both obsessions and compulsions that take a lot of time and get in the way of important activities the person values.

Bipolar disorder- a mental condition marked by alternating periods of elation and depression.

Hallucination- an experience involving the apparent perception of something not present.

Hoarder- a person who hoards things.
