Mikey's POV-

I can't believe this is happening...

I can't believe Gerard has done this.... why?!

I thought he was over this years ago...

It's all my fault, I should've been there for him more, why wasn't I there?!

I think as I put my arm around a crying Frank, in the waiting room.

We are waiting for them to let us know when they have any information.

Right now they are trying to get the drugs out of his system... Hopefully it's not too late.

I won't be able to live if it's too late.

Gerard's been there for me my entire life.... Sure, he's had a lot of problems like depression, but I'm always there to help him.

We are there for each other.... he can't just die and give up now....

I will forever blame myself if he dies in there....

Just then, a nurse comes in where we are sitting.

''Mr Way, Gerard Way's brother am I right? And Mr. Iero, Gerard's boyfriend, the one who called us?'' She asks.

I nod, desperate for her to continue.

''Good news and bad news, which would you like to hear first?''

''Good news'' Frank says.

''Okay, the good news is, he will not die, and he can be healed back to normal with this. Bad news is that he will need to stay here for about a month, only due to his alcohol addiction that he has told us is the reason why he took the drugs. So, after the month without any alcohol or drugs, he should be fine to go home.'' She explained.

I couldn't really process anymore, I still can't get over the fact that this is happening... again.... we've been through this addiction.

I bite my lip and stand up.

''Sorry, I just need the bathroom....'' I say, on the verge of tears, and quickly rush to the bathroom before her or Frank can say anything.
