But I Love You

It's after school and I've been out front for ten minutes now. I'm becoming very impatient waiting for him. Ya he's a teacher with a lot of students but he clearly stated that i'm the most important student. All of the fucking teachers and students left already and i'm still stuck out here waiting for his turtle ass!
Then I see the principle come out and walk towards me, "Frank?" She begins with a curious tone, "You know you're not supposed to hang around after school unless you are in a club or for extra help...Which, clearly you're not."
Was that an insult? Oh well. "Yea I know...My mother is running a bit late to pick me up today." I lie easily.
"Oh okay...Well have a good rest of the day then." She waves at me, then walking off to her car and driving away.

It's been fifteen more minutes and I finally see Mr. Way walk out to me. "Hey Frankie i'm so sorry! Ms. Richards wouldn't leave me the hell alone! She kept asking me extremely personal questions then she was like 'I THINK WE SHOULD GO OUT OR SOMETHING!' and i ran away."
I laugh, "You got her voice perfect and isn't she like in her fifty's?!"
"Fucking yes! And i'm gay!"
I freeze. I always had my suspicions that he was gay but I never knew for sure. I guess that's why he becomes very awkward when the girls try to flirt with him. But hey, more chances for me right?...No!
He looks at me weird and taps my shoulder, "Earth to Frank?"
I shake myself out of thought and smile, "Yup i'm here." I say quickly
"okay...How about we go now?"
I nod, following him to his car. I guess it's good that he took as long as he did because no one is here so now I didn't have to walk a block just to not get caught.

We pull up to what i assume is his house. The car ride was pretty awkward because we were silent but had the radio on. I guess we were both thinking about me actually staying there to live. I sure was thinking about that.
The house was cute. It's small, has a little garden area, and a pretty big backyard with a swing set. I love swings! I get out of the car, following him up the stone path to the front door. He fumbles getting the key out, which makes me chuckle, receiving a fake upset face from him and I wave my hands in the air defensively.
He finally gets it unlocked and gestures me to come in, which I do. I see another person, which I assume is Mikey, looking at us.
"Jesus Christ Mikey you could've opened the door for us!" Mr. Way says out of breath.
"Sorry Gee but it's entertaining to see you struggle...Now let's get down to business. Frank, sit your ass down next me and make yourself at home!" Mikey says with a lot of confidence.
I walk to the brown fake leather couch and sit awkwardly next to him.
Mr. Way, or shall I say Gerard, goes upstairs to what I think is his room, leaving me and Mikey alone.
"I'm going to say this while I have the chance," he begins quietly, "You obviously mean something to Gerard. A few kids in the past has told him stories like yours, but he never took it this far. He only kept his promise for not telling anyone. He has been talking about you a lot recently, like whenever he is marking papers and your assignment comes up, he lights up and tells me how proud he is of you."
I'm not that surprised to be completely honest. "Do you think he has feelings for me?" I ask.
Before he could answer, we hear footsteps down the stairs. Gerard comes down in a band shirt and pajama pants with hearts all over them. Usually in school he wears a suit and tie.
I can't help but think that he does look very good. He comes over to us and plops down next to me.
We all make small chit chat for a few minutes and then I decide that I need some time to think. "Can I take a shower?"
"Of course...The bathroom is upstairs on the left. Theirs towels on the shelf...Shit you need pajamas. I'll lend you mine." Gerard informs me.
"Uh yea, thanks."
I follow him upstairs and I wait outside his room. A minute later he comes out with red and black plaid pants and a matching top.
"Here, I think this will fit." He hands them to me.
"Thank you."
I walk to the bathroom, turning the shower on and wait for it to heat up. I spend a good amount of time in there because i haven't taken a good shower in months and because I need to clear my head.
Once i'm done in there, I put my new clothes on and go back downstairs. They are both sitting on the couch, watching whatever shit is on tv. I grab my backpack and go into the kitchen, starting my homework.

About an hour later, I finish. Gerard struts over to me and sits across from me, "What do you want for dinner? Mikey is saying I can't cook but I know I can! He said he wants Chinese. You good with that?"
I nod, "That sounds fine."
"Mikey your getting off your lazy ass and getting it!"
He walks in, "I figured I would have to..The usual right?"
"Yep." Gerard breathes out.
Mikey grabs the keys and yells out that he'll be back, leaving it just with just me and Gerard.
"I almost forgot to show you!" He gasps, then grabs my hand and pulls me up the stairs and opens a door to a empty room with only a desk and huge bed.
"This is your room. It's pretty boring right now but we can go out and get posters and stuff next weekend if you want." He explains excited.
"That would be really nice... All I care about is how comfy the bed is to tell the truth."
He giggles, "I'm pretty sure it's a cozy bed."
"good."
We go back downstairs and watch a bit more tv, before Mikey arrives with the food. We all eat like animals and make jokes left and right. After we finish, Gerard puts in The Avengers and by the time it's over, we are all sleepy. We scurry off to our rooms and I fall asleep quickly.
I have a good feeling about all of this.
