My Sophomore Slump Romance
Summary
Adelina Francis or Lina as she prefers has just moved from her suburban life in Toronto Canada after the death of her father and is sent to live with her older brother Andy.
Along with mourning the death of her father, struggling with her depression and anxiety Lina has to rebuild a life for herself in Belleville New Jersey.
When she starts her Sophomore year of high school she meets a fellow starving artist named Gerard along with his friends and bandmates.
Can this band of outcasts make their sophomore slump the comeback of the year?
Characters
Andy Francis
Lina's 24 year old brother. After their father's death Andy adopted his sister and she moved into his house in Belleville. He is a tattoo artist and owns a shop in town. He is very protective of his sister, especially because he knows about the incident wither her ex boyfriend and her mental illnesses. He is supportive of her love art and tries his best to give her the best life he can.
Frank Iero
15 years old although he is a sophomore. One of My Chemical Romance's guitarists and a goofy kid. He loves practical jokes and annoying his teachers and bullies. Despite his tattoos and smoking cigarettes he can be very gentle and kind when he knows his friends need it.
Gerard Way
16 year old that loves comic books, punk, metal and an all around weirdo. Singer for the band My Chemical Romance. He can seem distant and cold at first but is actually shy and a bit awkward. When provoked her can have a bit of a smart mouth that often gets him in trouble.
Lina Francis
16 year old with a love for writing and photography. Her mother passed away when she was 12 from cancer and her father died in a car accident six months prior to her moving to Belleville. She is currently living with her older brother Andy. She is very gifted academically and may comes off as sarcastic and moody but once she lets you in she has a heart of gold. Lina has a very bad phobia of blood after an incident with her ex boyfriend two years ago. She also struggles with depression and anxiety mainly caused from childhood trauma.
Mikey Way
Like Frank he was bumped up a grade to second year although he is only 14. (14 and three quarters in his defense) Like his older brother Gerard Mikey loves horror films and comic books as well as Anthrax and Iron Maiden. He plays bass in My Chemical Romance and acts as a mediator in the group's disputes if any.
Paige Morrison
16 year old girl that likes makeup and fashion. She and Lina become fast friends as they are the only two girls in their little band of misfits. Paige is confident and bubbly, she tries her best to help her friends through tough times and is very loyal. Don't underestimate her, just because she has hot pink nails and high heels doesn't mean she won't kick your ass if you threaten her friends
Ray Toro
16 year old guitar player that balances out Frank's crazy style in My Chemical Romance. He tries to keep his friends out of trouble but let's face it, with friends like his it's hard to do. He reads magazines in his spare time, plays videogames and bakes cupcakes.
