Summary
Gerard knew he shouldn't. That if he went through with it, it would ruin the kid. But he had to. He'd never had an opportunity to make that much money so easily again.

Frank Iero is an easily manipulated teenager who doesn't trust people unless they've proved themselves. Once they have he becomes overly-reliant and they become everything to him.
Gerard Way
He's completely broke, and the only way he gets money is through his friend Ray's bets. This particular bet will have terrible consequences, yet he takes it.
