Our Hearts Don't Beat Like Their's!
Chapter 7
Gerard was shaken by what had happened, and his brother's reassurances that it would not happen again, were not all that reassuringly.
The slight fertile was curled up in his bed, in the dorm room that he had moved into on the first day of the semester, after classes...Michael's room was right next door, and they had an adjoining bathroom in between. All of their personal belongings had been brought to their rooms while they were in classes that first day, and Gerard was so happy to be away from their father for the coming months that he had spent most of that first night unpacking and decorating the room to his tastes...Michael was still living out of his trunk.
"Knock knock...may I come in?..."
Michael said as he peered out of the bathroom at his fragile brother. Gerard nodded, but otherwise didn't move. Michael entered and crossed to sit on the edge of Gerard's bed. Gerard was paler than usual, which was quite a feat, and Michael could see he was shaking still.
"How are you feeling Gee?..."
He asked, reaching out to gently stroke Gerard's hair from his face. Gerard looked up at his brother but didn't reply. Michael sighed.
"Gee, I know you were scared today, but it's over now, and it will not happen again. I spoke to Mr Iero, and he agreed to you having private lessons, though you must still attend demonstrations."
"Like today?"
Gerard asked quietly. Michael was quick to shake his head.
"No, not like that..."
Gerard nodded, relaxing a little.
"I also mentioned that you would perhaps be receptive if he were to court you."
Gerard's eyes grew wide and he sat up suddenly.
"You told him what?!"
"Well you like him, yes?..."
Gerard's cheeks pinked a little, his eyes dropping as he nodded shyly.
"Then I was not lying, was I."
Gerard flopped back on his black silk sheets with a groan.
"How can I ever face him now?"
He whined. Michael chuckled. He was just about to say that his dear brother really didn't have a choice in the matter, when a knock came to the door of Gerard's room.
"I'll see who it is."
Michael said as he stood up and crossed the room. He opened the door.
"Mr Iero?...what can I do for you?"
Gerard's eyes widened...he did not think he would have to face him so soon.
Notes
Hi the vampire bats...how's you?
I'm so sorry this took so long to write, and that it is a 'short as Frank' filler chapter, but inspiration is scarce for me right now, and I'm struggling to write whole chapters by myself.
Hopefully my wonderful co-writer will be able to get this moving along and I will hopefully have more inspiration and less filler next time.
Until then...PLEASE COMMENT, and peace out babies!
