Frank’s P.O.V


So Gerard Way is gay, I giggle in my head at the rhyme; we are sitting in 7th period and we just had to fill out some worksheets which were pretty easy. I was already done so I just sat at my desk thinking; I look across the room where Gerard sat and kind of stared at him...that sounds creepy. He was really hot that’s no lie; and he’s extremely nice and actually wants to be my friend.

I’ve only had one other friend and that was last year before we moved; her name was Jamia...Shhh don’t tell my parents but I slept with her; as far as anyone knows i’m still a virgin. We weren’t dating either, we were at her house and her parents were out, one thing led to another and we had sex. The following days were fine and not awkward too; we didn’t talk about it much, It was this one time thing. About a week later my parents gave me the sex talk still thinking I've never had sex, of course I didn’t tell them and yes don’t worry I used a condom, i’m not that stupid.

Anyway back to the point, I've only had like one other friend and now Gerard is a friend...who I kind of have a crush on; damn stupid crushes, why do crushes have to develop so fast, I just met him today and i’m still getting to know him. Someone grab my attention my waving there hand and I look over and spot Matt

School is over – he signs; I nod and grab my stuff and head to the front of the class to hand in my paper

“Thank you Frank, I hope you liked it here” her lips moved


“You’re welcome, and I do thanks” I smile and she nods giving her direction to another student handing in a paper; I do like it here, nice friends Gerard, Ray, Lindsey, so far there are pretty nice teachers but all the teachers are nice to new students, i’ll have to wait a week or so to find out. I walked outside the door to see Gerard talking with someone; he had dirty blonde hair as you could see the roots but it was dyed blonde and combed back. He was cute too but I thought Gerard was cuter; Gerard spots me and smiles


“Frank this is my brother Mikey” he says, oh that’s Mikey...not bad looking brothers; he turns to Mikey and gestures his hand towards me I guess introducing me. They talked for a moment with Mikey raising his eyebrows; I looked over to Matt


What are they saying- I Signed


He’s mentioning that you're deaf and how Mikey needs to look at you when talking- He signed back and I smiled, again very nice; Matt looked at him more and chuckled


What? - I wondered


I don’t think I should tell you- He smiled


Tell me! - I demanded, I could tell he sighed; looking at Gerard who was still talking with Mikey and back to me


I kind of like Frank so do not embarrass me, he’s nice and cute so just say hi and then leave - Matt signs what Gerard said; I feel my face heat up and I grin


Do you like him too? - he questions and I simply nod; so he likes me and I like him...Should I mention it, No? Yes? I mean we should get to know each other a little bit more before I mention it; just hanging out first...yeah that’s my plan...I’m going to keep it to myself and if he mentions it first then so be it but I will keep it hidden for now.


I see Mikey stepping over and I direct my attention to him


“Hi i’m Mikey” he says


“Nice to meet you” I say back sticking my hand out letting him shake it


“Well I have to go but I guess i’ll see you soon though” he smiles


“Okay see you” He watches my hands for a moment and nods walking off; Gerard steps forward


“I guess it’s time to go home, but i’ll see you tomorrow okay?” He comments scratching the back of his neck


“Yeah i’ll see you then” We spend a moment just standing there before I turn around and start heading the direction of the parking lot...Once in the car heading back home we hit a red light


“So you like him?” Matt says getting my attention


“Yeah, he’s nice and cute...he already told me he was gay” Matt nods


“Are you going to talk to him about it?”


“No...If he ends up telling me then that’s fine but I want to get to know him more before I go into anything drastic” I reply


“Smart choice...You going to tell your parents about him?”


“I’ ll mention that I made a friend in case I want to invite him over but the crush thing i’ll keep to myself” he nods and drives off as the light turns green...I really like this school so far.
