I'm Really Not That Bad.

It's not my problem.

A few days passed uneventfully, now it being almost a week that Gerard had been around. It was a Friday now, group therapy day. They all sat in a circle. There were two groups, Gerard and Frank had luckily ended up in the same group. Their group consisted of Patrick, Pete, a guy named Billie, Brendon, and themselves. They all were sat in a circle, cliché. The therapist sat in the center, again, cliché. All of this was very cliché, to Gerard at least. He sat next to Frank without complaining though. Billie was to his left and the others sat along the side with Patrick next to Frank. "So. Gerard. You're fairly new here. Tell me about yourself." The therapist spoke. "Uh.. I drink a lotta coffe and I smoke a lotta cigarettes. I take a lotta Xanax and I suck dick for cocaine." I grinned. She frowned at that but nodded. "And why do you smoke and do drugs?" She asked. Gerard shrugged. "Just do. Takes my mind off of everything. Work. School. Family. Shit like that." He mumbled. She nodded, writing a few things down. She moved on then, asking Billie about how he was feeling. "Shit. As usual. I'm gonna be sent to fucking jail after this I can't be sent to jail!" He said. Gerard didn't get what he was talking about. "Billie, we've talked about this. They're not convicting you. You didn't hurt anyone. You didn't do anything." She said softly. Billie just sighed, holding his head in his hands. Gerard looked over at Frank who leaned over to whisper in his ear as the lady talked to Pete. "Billie hears voices. They tell him he's done bad things but he really hasn't. He wouldn't hurt anyone." Frank whispered. Gerard nodded and turned his attention to Patrick who was now writing on his whiteboard. "How are you feeling Patrick?" She asked. He turned his board to show her. 'SAD' it read in big letters, with a frowny face at the end. "Why sad?" At that he started writing again. 'Lindsey yelled at me and I couldn't find Pete earlier.' He wrote. "Oh I'm sorry Patrick. I'll talk to Lindsey later. But you found Pete so that's good, yeah?" She smiled a bit. Patrick nodded, moving closer to Pete happily. Gerard looked over to Frank, again wishing that they could be like that. "Brendon. Your turn." She said, seeming a bit hesitant. Brendon grinned, getting up on his chair with his hands on his hips. "I'm feeling great, madame. And you?" He said, winking before bursting out into a laugh anmd sitting back down. She sighed and just ignored him. "Alright... Frank. How are you?" She asked. The fifteen year old simply shrugged. "I'm okay... they made me eat. I wanted to puke but I didn't." He said. "Oh well that's good." The therapist spoke a while longer and then they were all dismissed..
