Please Don't Take This Out On Me

"What are you doing?" I gasped; pushing him off. My mind was racing at 100 miles per hour and all I could think of was Gerard. I missed the way his lips tasted and the secure feeling of his arms around me. With Mikey it was just - not Gerard.
"Frank," Mikey whispered. "I have an idea. You pretend to be my boyfriend and Gerard will leave you alone." I bit my lip and everything clicked. No wonder Mikey was shy around me. He didn't want me to take this the wrong way. "Not bad, Mikes," I grinned. "Let's do it." "Yeah?' Mikey held his hand out and I high-fived him. "Hell yeah!"

When I finally went back to the hospital, Mikey slipped his hand through mine once we walked inside and I gave him a questioning look before remembering our plan. He squeezed my hand reassuringly as we walked into the dining room and sat down at our usual table for dinner. Grilled cheese. Thank god it wasn't cow tongue.
"Fave superhero?" I asked Mikey randomly. Mikey raised an eyebrow. "Captain America, duh." I stuck my tongue out at him. Weirdo.
"Fave food?" Mikey asked and I thought for a minute. "Grilled cheese." Mikey giggled and motioned to his sandwhich. "So eat, dumbass." "Thanks," I grinned; picking up a half and shoving it in my mouth. "Better?" "I can't hear you, your mouth's full."
I rolled my eyes. "Nice." We ate in silence for a couple minutes until I let out a loud yawn and Mikey smirked. "TIred?" I shrugged. I had been sleeping on a hard hospital mattress for a while so it would probably be nice to sleep in my own bed. Except for Bob... He might be a problem. "Mikes?" I whispered. "Yeah?" Mikey looked concerned. "I don't want to go back to my room." The lump in my throat returned and I look down and blinked back tears. Just thinking about Bob made me anxious.
Mikey was beside me in an instant and hugged me tightly. "Don't worry, Frankie. You can stay with me." I smiled. "Th-thanks Mikes." Mikey kissed my cheek gently and I cuddled into him. If I didn't have a huge thing for Gerard, Mikey would be a great boyfriend.
"Excuse me, for a minute, Frank?" My head shot up and I looked into the hurt eyes of Gerard. He actually looked like shit, though. His hair was all messed up and the dark circles under his eyes needed a lot of concealer to cover up. "U-uh-" I squeaked and Gerard smiled softly. "Just for a second." I shrugged and got up to follow him out of the dining room. He looked upset, and I hoped he wouldn't hurt me.
As soon as we stepped out of the room Gerard pulled me wordlessly into a hug. I hugged him back; sighing and just enjoying the way his body curved around mine. "Come back to my room, baby," he whispered and nibbled on my earlobe. I gasped and pushed him away; starting to panic a bit before remembering the plan. "S-sorry, I h-have a boyfriend."
Gerard stepped back. He looked so hurt it broke my heart. "Wh-what?" "Yeah..." I kicked the ground awkwardly. "Who?" I looked up into his eyes and as soon as I said Mikey's name Gerard's eyes turned as black as coal. "You motherfuck-" He slammed his fists into the wall and I jumped in terror. "Gee-" "You're mine," he hissed. "No one is allowed to have you. Understand?"
