Troubled and Hurt

*Mikey's pov*

"..You ok?" I asked the boy Gee had ran into.
He was rubbing the back of his head. Then he looked up.. Wow.. Cute!
Yes!.. I'm gay!.. Fuck off if you don't like it!.. But unlike Gee, I've never told anyone!
"Yeah I'm cool!.." He murmured ".. You ok?.." He directed at my brother with a wide smile. Gee nodded slightly, still clinging to my arm and trying to hide in his hair ".. Ya sure?" Gee was shaking.
"I'm Mikey.." I said, grabbing the boy's attention ".. This is Gee.. My brother!"
The other boy, cute boy's friend, frowned "Don't he talk?"
"Bob!.. Be nice!.." Cute boy snapped, clipping Bob around the back of his head ".. Sorry 'bout him"
"That's alright!.." I assured ".. But no!.. He doesn't!"
"Oh.." Cute boy looked a little taken aback, but recovered quickly ".. Ok.. Um.. Oh!.. I'm Frank, by the way!"
"Nice to meet you!.." I stuck out my hand and cute boy Frank shook it, though I noticed his eyes kept straying to Gee.. Good luck with that!.. More chance of getting a goldfish to talk! ".. What homeroom you in?"
Frank somewhat reluctantly drew his eyes back to me "We're in 6b.. Mr. Biersack's class!"
"Same!" I said, enthusiastically.
Bob laughed "You do know that ya going the wrong way.. Right?" That gained him a shoulder punch from Frank.
I grinned "Yeah!.. We know!"
"Where were you headed?" Frank asked.
"Away!.." I replied, simply. Frank raised an eyebrow in query, and Bob looked like he was going to speak, but shut his mouth at a glare from Frank ".. The teacher was being a dick!.. Trying to make Gee talk!"
Frank nodded in understanding "That sounds like Andy!.." He rolled his eyes ".. He's a good guy really, but he seems to get off on pushing people's buttons.. You get used to it!.." He ducked his head slightly to meet Gee's eyes ".. Try not to let him get to you.. He's just trying to get a rise!"
Gee nodded slightly.. At least I know he's still with us.. Sometimes after a panic attack, or even just when someone's talking to us, he'll kind of retreat into his own head, and even I can't get a response from him then. I wonder where he goes?
"We're so late dude!.." Bob suddenly piped up ".. Andy's gonna kill us!"
"Doubtful!.." Frank said, seriously, looking at Bob ".. But a detention's not out of the question!.." He grinned, then turned back to us ".. You guys coming?"
Gee's fingers gripped tighter to my sleeve.. Clearly he didn't want to go back there "Sure!.." I stated. Gee looked at me like I just betrayed him ".. Let's go!" I started to drag Gee back toward the classroom, our new companions falling into step next to us.
Now, don't get me wrong, I love my brother very much!.. but sometimes I just wish he was normal!
As we approach the door, I can feel him trembling like a fucking leaf against my side, and I'm about to reassure him that he'll be ok, when Frank steps in and gets there first "It's ok Gee!.." He said, softly ".. Andy's not gonna say a word to you now!"
I scoffed slightly "Yeah right!"
"Honestly!.." Frank nodded ".. You'll see!" He winked at Gee, then pushed the door open and led our group inside. Why did he have to wink?.. It's not like he's got a shot!.. Why couldn't he have winked at me, instead?
I huffed as we headed into the room.. Gee practically vibrating now.
Frank was right though!.. Andy didn't speak to me or Gee.. He was too busy chewing out Frank and Bob for being 25 minutes late to homeroom, to bother with us.
We walked quickly back to our table at the back of class, and sat down opposite Pete and Ray.
Ray smiled softly "Everything ok?" I nodded, as Gee slouched in his chair, his shaking fingers holding tight to my arm still.
A moment later, Frank and Bob took the other two seats at our table "See you met the rest of our group?!.." Frank murmured, quietly, a grin on his lips. I smiled back ".. Welcome to Belleville High.. You're gonna love it here!"
And with that, we started our time at this school, with four new, and definitely cool friends!...
