Song of the Chapter: Let The Flames Begin -Paramore

"Whatever. Fuck you and your fancy car!" I spat.

"Hey! Woah, woah. What did Rocky ever do to you?"

"Who?!"

"My fancy car, as you called her, her name is Rocket. Rocky or Rocks for short. What did she ever do to you?" He explained.

"...wow. Okay then. Well for starters, 'she' is the only reason that--" My sentence was cut short by the car coming to a sudden hault and screeching loudly.

"Jesus Christ! Don't you know how to drive?!" I said exasperated.

"Sorry! It's just...ugh sorry nevermind!" He sounded genuinely apologetic.

"It's fine. Whatever. Are you okay?"

"Fine. You?"

I didn't respond. I just nodded slightly and he continued driving.

The streets became more and more familliar. I saw the shadowed outline of my old elementary school. The wind was soft coming from the window, so I decided to put my hand out and wave at the old building. I hated that place when I was a kid, but looking back, I owe a lot to it. Without it, I wouldn't have learned guitar or met Gerard or Mikey. MIkey is Gerard's younger brother.

I looked over at Gerard. He had a small grin on his face. He never really cared for it either. But that is the very reason that we ever became friends. One day changed the rest of my life, and so much more.
