As he pulled me out of the suitcase he, again, made absolutely certain the he pokedand irritated the many abraisions that imprinted on my body. Insidde and out. He then threw me to the wall and shoved the case back into the car. I managed to get my arms to hold me away from the brick before it came in contact with my face. The he trew some paper and napkins at me and swung back around to the door on the driver's side.

"Iero!" He called one last time."4pm Friday. Be late and you'll be regreting it! And..." He paused." Don't wear too may layers, I'd hate to shred the last few pieces of clothing you have left!" He laughed with malice but he still had a commanding look in his eyes. He sat back in his sseat and quickly sped down avenue.

The street was dark and all the shops were closed. I sat for about 3 minutes before picking up the paper and napkins. I shoved the napkins far into my pockets and unravelled the paper. It was 2 bills. One was $10 and the other was $5. He gave me a "tip" every so often. It meant that he was extremely pleased with my "performance". Sadistic asshole!

His words replayed through my head. "4pm. Regreting it. Layers. Shred." over and over again. It didn't matter though. I wouldn't be around to see 4pm tomorrw, nevermind Friday.

I began walking toward the traffic lights. I'd become farely familliar with this area. I knew how to get home from here. But this time I wasn't going home. I was never going home. Ever again. Nope, this time I was headed to the bridge. It wasn't far and it was the only tool I could think of using. The only option that I couldn't back out of. Once my feet lunged me forward, it would all be over. No turning back or talking myself away from it.
