The High School Experience

Frank POV
I went to geometry alone but I expected bob soon. More than bob came actually. Some guy with growing black hair came along. They both sat next to me but the new guy looked me up and down and nodded approvingly. What?
“Frank this is Bert, he’s Gerard’s friend. And dude, Gerard’s pretty cool!” bob exclaimed to me. Bert waved at me and formally introduced himself, as did I. we got to talking and this guy wasn’t bad, he seemed decent, still wondering why he looked me up and down. But I’ve been creepy enough for one day to not go further into questioning.
I was so happy with having a free period next. Bert waved goodbye and boob and went looking for ray. We met him on his way to find us, we decided to go to the cafeteria already since the periods today were only 30 minutes long. I spaced out most of the day but I did realize I had Gerard for 3 more classes, in fact we had one class with just us and some juniors and seniors. No other freshman. I was very pleased with that.
Ray and boob kept trying to question me but I ignored them. I was lonely when I had to wait for the bus. Well I wasn’t alone, there was more kids but no one I knew or just talked to. That was until Gerard pushed me playfully
“Hey frank” he said happily
“Hey, no Bert?”
“No, he can just walk home while I have to take the bus. But hey you’re here so I’m not complaining” he smiled
“I’m not either” I smiled back. We sat together and continued talking but I didn’t really even listen because I could fucking help but stare at his lips, they seemed nicely chapped (how!?) and they were so pink and full. When we got near his stop, he started getting up
“Oh before I go. Frank, it isn’t nice to be distracted while someone is talking to you. Especially if you’re being distracted with their lips.” He smirked slightly and stepped off. Oh fuck.
*1 month later*
“You did it wrong” Gerard sang into my ear when I failed our exam for science (this lady was nice but holy hell does she give a lot of homework that I forget to do)
“No shit Sherlock. Of course I fucking did it wrong. I got a fucking f.” I was moody from failing, but I shouldn’t have told that to him. He pouted at me. And whimpered. Oh my god
“So mean, Frankie.” Oh yeah, he’s been calling me Frankie saying that “it suits me more” I don’t know how but I like when he calls me that.
“I’m sorry, just fucking sucks that I failed.” I said while rubbing my face. I need to start sleeping more, I’m always so tired.
“I know,” he smiled kindly “I understand”
“Frank. Gerard. Can I see the 2 of you for a second” our teacher called us and we both went up there while I got stares from boob and ray
“Okay well frank I’ve noticed that you failed,” no shit, you’re the one who failed me “and Gerard did pretty well so since you 2 seem to get along why don’t guys study more often together?” Gerard. In my house?
“I don’t mind studying, but only if frank wants too?”
“What? Oh! Yeah. I don’t mind.” I nodded in agreement.
“Great! Maybe you can get some homework done too finally, frank?” she might’ve said that nicely but I know she doesn’t mean it nicely.

In one month of being in school so far, Bert, ray, boob, Gerard, and I tend to hang out most of the time. So during lunch, ray and boob were arguing over something while Bert and I were being amused, Gerard wasn’t here yet cos he went to go buy some junk to eat
“Alright c’mon Frankie, we gotta go check you out some school books cos I know your little ass if failing half your classes.” Gerard said when he came back
“Dammit frank!” ray got mad at me, I knew that’d happen, I pushed it off
“Do we have to?” I pouted at Gerard
“Yes we have to. Now get up” he pulled me by my collar and started pulling towards the library.
3rd POV
Gerard pulled frank away by his collar. Bert and bob both just laughed and shook their heads
“Oh those 2 have the biggest crushes on each other” bob said well eating a bit of his apple
“What,” ray asked confused “crushes? Why’d you say that?” still clearly confused
“Well it’s obvious isn’t it?” bob asked. And ray still had no idea what was going on
“Oh dear, bobert. It appears that our little Raymond here is does not see the obvious.”
“It appears so, Robert. Should we clear things up for Raymond?”
“Definitely”
“What the fuck is going on? What’s obvious and needs to be cleared up?”
“Dude. Let us begin by clearing up that Gerard is a flying homo.” Bert said
“Gerard’s gay!?” ray whisper yelled, he knew to keep this quiet.
“Is that not obvious?” Bert asked bob. Bob nodded that it was
“Holy shit. I didn’t know that. Well what else needs to be cleared up?”
“So is frank.” Bob stated
“Bob. I’ve known frank all my life, there’s no way he’s gay” ray defended.
“Think about it ray.” Bob told him. And he started to think for a second
“Oh my god. You’re right. Is that why no girl really ever appealed to but he thought tom delonge was really handsome!?” ray asked, shocked. To which bob nodded. Ray was still in shock as bob continued.
“And both Gerard and frank have the biggest crushes on each other. Gerard doesn’t even hide the small flirting, frank is still a bit lost but he’s getting there.”
This was all new to ray and it was so much so quick
“Wow. How the hell did you 2 figure it out?”
I found out 2 years ago when gee told me” Bert stated
“I have a mother and an older sister. They’ve had gay friends. I can smell a gay man or women by now. Frank’ll find out soon too” bob explained to ray.
