But The Past Aint Through With You

I Love You More Than I Can Ever Scream

The sun rose upon the New Battery City. It's light peered through the windows of the buildings.

On that September morning, Frank Anthony Iero and his wife, Helena, lay asleep in the bed. The sun rays peering through their window slowly warmed the room up. The door slowly opened.
"Are they asleep?" one voice asked.
"Yeah, dude." the other voice said. "Let's go wake 'em up."
The two kids ran into the room and started jumping on their parents bed.
"Mama! Daddy! Get up! First day of school! First day of school!" they exclaimed.
"Alright, alright," Helena said. "Go get ready."
The kids left while she woke up her husband.
"Honey," she whispered sweetly in his ear. "Wake up. We have to take the kids to school."
"Five more minutes." Frank groaned.
She giggled and kissed his cheek lightly. "Come help me in the kitchen, please?" she pleased with him.
"Okay, fine." he mumbled as he crawled out of bed.

"I hate air traffic." Frank complained.
Air driving Frank Jr. and Bert to school was one thing. Keeping them quiet was the real challenge.
"I wanna open up the window." Bert said.
"Oh my god! No!" Helena. "Don't do that! We're fifty feet above the ground. Do you want to fall and have your head broken?"
"Finally," Frank interjected. "We're moving."
••••••••••••••
"Don't forget your lunches!" Helena called out to her children as they got out of the car.
"We know Mama." Frank Jr. calked back.
"Bye."
"Bye."
And the two children went off.

"Our kids are growing up." Helena sobbed as they pulled out of the drive way.
"Aww, don't worry, Dear." Frank said. "It's just kindergarden."
