A huge wave of relief ripped through me, he said that last part almost too quick for me to understand. Almost. I stayed quiet for a few, processing everything that was just said. And when I finally processed that last part, I felt giddy and I started laughing. I sounded like an old man who had found out he was right all along about aliens existing.

Fuck. My eyes widened and I ran my hands through my hair before shaking my head and saying ' No, it's not like that, it's just.... I'm so relieved that you feel the same way. I have felt the same way about you since like the 7th grade, but only just realized it this morning, when I told Mikey how I got... Jealous at the mention of that guy last night' I watched him look up slowly ' really? You're not fucking with me, are you?' I shook my head
' and why the hell would I do that? I'm emotionally blind, not an asshole.' I hesitated for a few seconds before adding ' can I... Can I hold your h-hand?' he nodded and I took his soft, warm hands into my own cold and sweaty ones
He looked at our interlocked fingers before answering my question ' I just didn't think you felt the same, I mean, you're Gerard Way. The guy who's known to "fuck em and dump em." The one who broke 15 hearts in one week. Everybody wants you- even some of the teachers, so why would you like me? Me, out of everyone else?' I smiled before touching his cheek and whispering 'because you're a billion and one times more amazing then anyone else I've ever met. No one has a chance with you in comparison. He looked like he was going to cry, so I leaned in and kisses his forehead. 'so, what does this make us? I mean, we don't have to jump the gun and date right off of the back... But are we more than friends? Just so I know and don't get my hopes up'
I've never dated anyone before- I don't know about romance, hearts and all of that junk.
' well.... I'm new at the whole dating thing, despite the rumours, I've never dated anyone. So you'll have to cut me some slack' he nodded and took his hand out of mine.
We were pulling into the restaurant parking lot now, so I had to make a move.... An emotional one, not a physical one, I had to show him how much I care about him. But how? So, when I parked the car, I grabbed his hand 'well, umm, what do you say we take this awkward we're-only-here-because-they-don't-have-any-other-friends thing we usually do and turn it into a double date? Only if you want to, that is...' he smiled so big I saw the dimples above his cheeks and below his eyes. ' I'd love that more than anything in the world'
I got off of the car and ran to open up the car door for him. I grabbed his hand as we walked into the restaurant... I hope I'm doing this right. I'll definitely be asking Mikes for pointers on this whole 'love' thing. That concept seems so foreign to think about.....

I lied, I decided to update again tonight for a few reasons
1) I didn't want to not update and then forget what I was going to write tomorrow (if that makes sense)
2) I wanted to run away from my unfortunate reality (don't ask)
3) I also wanted to run from my responsibilities ( I wonder how many calories that is?)
4) I can't sleep at all
so, yeah, here's Gerard's point of view on what happened and such. Maybe I'll sleep now, so, until tomorrow....
