I Knew You Were Trouble

It was now 9 am in the morning,the only thing that could be heard was the slight tapping of raindrops on my window.The sky was dark with clouds..There was a rainstorm coming for sure..I was just laying on my bed while observing the sky,thinking what I was going to do since I had no obligations for the weekend.I reached for my phone which was on the nightstand.

Two new messages.One was from Ray,the other one from a number I didn't recognize.I opened Ray's first."hey man,call me when you can".I am not the most talkative person in the world and especially in morning hours,so I decided calling him later.Curiosity overwhelmed me as my eyes scanned over the unknown number.I tapped on the message,it just simply read "Hi Mikey.."

I bit my lip and glanced at the number again.Who could it be?After a few minutes of still not imagining who could it be,I typed a reply"Hi..Who's it?".I dropped my phone on a pillow next to my head and laid back down.I closed my eyes and enjoyed the smell and sound of rain that intruded my small room,snuggling my face in the warm sheets.Oh how I love weekends.

The peaceful moment I was just enjoying was cut short when my bedroom's door flew open and before I could process what was going on,an arm grabbed my shoulder and shook it so heavily that I ended up on the floor with a blood curling scream.I raised my head in shock only to see my stupid older brother laughing like it was the funniest thing in the world."You asshole." I growled at him while examining my arm.I got back in my bed while looking at him angrily.He just ran his hand through his red hair and sat on the edge of my bed.

"Good morning Mikes!I Was just wondering if you would like to go to a party where I happen to go too." He spoke offering his brightest smile."only if I can bring my friends with me" I answered after thinking about his offer for a moment while chewing on my lip.Gerard nodded."Yeah, they can.Besides we won't be together there anyway.I just told you about the party so you wouldn't stay in playing video games with your friends. You're fucking sixteen!When I was your age I-" I rolled my eyes not wanting to hear him rambling on about his crazy years of partying,having girlfriends,going on vacation with his rich friends and the football team.i put my hand over his mouth.

"Yeah I know what you did when you were my age,you've told me a thousand times.Now leave me alone" I whined.He slapped my hand."Whatever,so the party's tomorrow night..I'm out." He said while walking out of my room quickly.He gets so irritated when someone is not interested in his life because he is always used in being the centre of attention,it's funny. I let out a giggle and muttered "fucking spoilt princess" Gerard kicked my door shouting "I fucking heard ya!" .at that time,I decided it was best for me to shut up.

Turning my head around I noticed my phone,realizing I hadn't called Ray yet.I picked up my phone,tapped on his number and waited until he answered."hey mikes" I heard his voice from the receiver. "Hey Ray.Whats up?" The Sudden sound of a thunder made me jump up in fear. "I was just wondering if we would do anything on the weekend" he answered. I nodded although he couldn't hear me."Well yeah,my brother's going to a party tomorrow night and I thought that it's a nice idea to go." "Uh huh,yeah why not? I'll call Patrick and Ryan too..Text me when we should pick you up Kay?" I answered a yeah and ended the call.

After a moment,my phone buzzed in my hands.I unlocked it and saw I had a new message from the number I didn't know.My eyes scanned over it reading it again and again."it's Pete.Don't ask where I found it,I searched through your brothers phone when we were drunk. Anyways,save my number cause I've got a feeling we're gonna talk for sometime" At the last part of the text,my lips curled up in a smile I didn't know was there.What was he doing to me...?
