Dancing in the Desert
Summary
Seven years after the vast array of natural disasters that destroyed the American continents, a new leadership organization rose from the ruins of L.A. Better Living Industries looked to bring humanity back from the ashes stronger than it ever was before, or so the people thought. Political dissenters of BL/I were banished into the desert, though there were rumors that those who survived had formed a small rebel corps, an underground resistance group called "The Killjoys".
Scarlett was not part of either.
She lived in the desert alone, stealing only what she needed to survive, whether it be from BL/I or the Killjoys. Of course, she never intended to be caught. She also never intended to fall in love, but shit happens.
