Frank’s P.O.V

“What the hell was that?” I shouted as she was still lay on top of me, quickly putting her hand over my mouth. “They’re here, they have found me.” She whispered moving her hand slowly, “I need to bite you.” She bite her lip looking down at me as my eyes widen. “I thought we were finally making progress Blake, you know about the whole you not wanting to kill me thing.” I spat out.“It’s not to kill you! It’s because I need your ability to disappear.” She whispered back harshly, just as another shot rang out, causing her to duck down, as the shots were getting lower. “I’m not leaving you to go out there on your own, you’ll be killed” I shook her a little. “And you’ll be more of a liability!” She glared at me, “just trust me please.” “Where do you need to be?” I looked at her seriously, just so she knew I wouldn’t be budging on this.“Urgh,” she looked round, “that tree there” she nodded up to a tree just beyond our walls. I grabbed hold of her and took us there. We were sat in the tree just above one of the shooters, as I looked at her for the next move. “You stay here.” She whispered as she started to climb down a few branches looking round for the others. Next thing I know she was dropping on top of his shoulders and kicking the gun out of his hand as he struggled with her to get her off him. I heard his struggle for breath noting he was human and I saw her thighs squeezing around his neck before he dropped to the floor lifeless. I noticed her check the gun before sliding it into the back of her pants and signalling me to come down from the tree. “Is he?” I looked at the body slumped on the floor before looking at her.“Kill or be killed.” She uttered as she closed her eyes. “That garage over there.” She pointed to where the staffs cars were kept. I nodded taking us there once again. She quickly looked out of the widow in there seeing the guy back up towards the door, she swung the door open silently grabbing him with her hand over his mouth and kicking the back of his legs causing him to lean against her as she dragged him in. Once again she disarmed him whilst grabbing a chair and sitting on it over the top of him. “Who sent you?” She spoke calmly as the guy refused to speak, the mask covering his face. She rolled her eyes and tilted the chair causing the foot bar to push into his windpipe, his legs suddenly kicking everywhere. “Who sent you?” She repeated, the guy coughing trying to get his words out as she relaxed the chair. “Zachary, Zach Quinn.” He coughed out. “How many are out there?” Again he shook his head, this time pulling out the gun from the back of her pants, as I felt my eyes once again widen in horror. “Alright alright alright please don’t shoot!” He screamed out. “There’s three of us.” This time his voice was wavering. “He’s angry Blake. Beyond mad. He wants your head on a stick so he can remind his youngers what happens if they were to go rouge.” He was telling her everything she wanted to hear without her even asking. “Where’s your wire?” She spoke out, her voice void of emotion, the gun still pointing at his head. “I don’t have one. It’s James who’s got the wire. Not me. I promise.” He begged as she slide the gun back into the back of her pants and moving the chair. The guy still lying in the same spot to afraid to move I think.

“Blakey Blake Blake come out come out wherever you are!” The taunting voice came from outside, as I noticed the guy about to scream out to the other. Diving across the room and kicked him square in the face, not sure if I knocked him out or killed him. “Please tell me you’ve already killed James?” I whispered grabbing her arm, as she shook her head.“You need to stay here Frank, promise me.” She whispered and for the first time I saw fear in her eyes. “What? Why?” I stroked her cheek softly. “Because I need you alive to protect Anna. I trained with James, he’s tough and knows my moves. One of us isn’t going to come out alive, and these guns aren’t loaded golden bullets.” She whispered before leaning up to kiss me before scooting out of the door. I watched from the window as she walked over to the only guy left you didn’t have a mask on. “They you are. Traitor.” He smirked walking over to her slowly. “Hope the fuck was worth yours and sweet sweet Anna’s life.” I noticed her tense up at the mention of Anna. “Sadly I won’t know, but I’ll be sure to tell Zacky when we do to celebrate tonight.” She smirked walking over to him. “It’s going to be hard to do this, you were so talented but you defied him. You stupid stupid girl! He was willing to give you everything Blake! Willing to marry you, make the full connection with you! Even tell you who it was that turned you! But you -” That was it he sent her into overdrive as she kicked him full square in the chest and just did not stop until he was curled up laughing at her. “That’s right. He’s known all along and all you had to do was the kill fucking Iero. I thought you didn’t have emotions Blake! I thought you were like us!” He spat out laughing up at her. She dragged him over to the wall with his hair, his feet running along to keep the pressure off his head as she slammed it into the wall. “Fuck you James. You have your head so far up his arse you must enjoy the taste of shit.” She snapped out pulling out the gun from the back of her pants, and placing her foot up against his throat and pointing the gun straight at his stomach. “You’re wrong. He wouldn’t of given me any of that. He’d have just fed me with more lies, telling me things he thought would keep me on board. Well I’m not his backbone anymore James.”

There was a loud bang and I quickly looked up when I heard her ear piercing scream as I noticed his black gun pointing against her thigh. I quickly looked around for anything I could use as a weapon against this monster, but before I could get out I heard another loud bang and as I ran to the door I noticed just Blake lay there clutching her thigh openingly crying. I quickly ran over and grabbed hold of her bridal style as she screamed out. “What do I do Blake? Please” I whispered trying not to let my emotions show as I appeared in the house. “Anna.” She croaked out, “Anna knows what to do.” She whispered as I ran upstairs screaming out for Anna.
“What?” She appeared at the top of the stairs looking scared, before running over when she saw Blake in my arms. “Just like we practiced bestie.” Blake whispered to her as Anna lead me into Gerard’s room. “Tweezers, towels, needle and thread. Now!” Anna barked out as all the items were brought to her before I’d even got Blake on the bed. “Get out both of you!” She glared at me and Gerard as she pushed us both out. “What happened?” Gerard asked after while, sat facing me on the opposing wall. I quickly filled Gerard in, still trying to find the focus of Blake’s heartbeat but failing. There we’re too many humans about. “Dude she is bad news. You need to ring the council. You know they are after her.” Gerard spoke slowly and careful as I glared up at him. “If you don’t dude, then I’m going to. That could have been you out there. Don’t forget she was hear to kill you. Why are you protecting her?” He carried on as we both stood up, my eyes flashing angry red as my fangs came out.“You report her and they’ll take Anna too. Don’t pretend you’re not enjoying Anna being here. She knows of our kind, so they will kill her, or use her as a donor. Tell me Gerard you willing to sacrifice her too?” I neared him, my fists clenching at the side of me. I quickly moved away when I heard the door open and close, as Anna stood there covered in blood just staring at me.
