Summary
Gerard Way has been blind for the last 10 years due to a house fire. After multiple eye surgeries with no success, he completely gives up on his life, sinking deeper and deeper into himself, when luck suddenly turns to face him. He has a pair of eyes donated to him, but his happiness doesn't last for too long- he starts seeing things he isn't meant and doesn't want to see.

20 years old. After regaining his vision, Gerard meets Frank face to face for the first time. The tattooed man claims they've never met before, but Gerard is sure his voice sounds familiar.
