The Boy Next Door...

**Natalie POV**

After my heartwarming explanation and a little bit of small talk to follow we were done with our coffee and pancakes. I started to pick up the plates and cups to rinse and put in the dishwasher, when Frank picked up his before I could reach it. “I got this.” He proclaimed. I just smiled and told him, “It’s alright I’m just going to rinse them and put them in the wash.” But to my protest he didn’t budge so I sighed and walked over to the sink to rinse my own.

Frank followed behind me, stood next to me, and our arms touched each other and I could have sworn someone had opened me up and replaced my stomach with butterflies. I unintentionally smiled at this feeling and let my mind wonder just enough to where Frank noticed my smile and asked me “What are you so happy about?” I lied “Just thinking about Gerard and what he’s going to think of you.” Frank gave a chuckle and said nothing.

After we finished up we headed up to my room once there I turned around and told him “Hey I’m going to take a shower you are more then welcome to shower as well if you want to.” He looked at me sideways and grinned “You mean we can shower together?” I turn red some and pushed him a little bit “No you dummy you can use the shower downstairs.” He used a fake sad puppy dog face and said “But it would be more fun together.” I just laughed, shook my head, threw his bag at him while pushing him out the door, and shutting and locking it.

A moment or two passes and there is a knock on my door I slowly open it and say “Missing something Frank?” he looks at me with a smile on his face and says “where’s your bathroom?” I laugh forgetting I didn’t tell him where downstairs and tell him which way to go. “If you reconsider you can always come join me.” he says with a laugh as he’s walking off. I just close my door and head for my dresser and closet to pick out what I’m going to wear.

After deciding on my deep purple lace bra and matching bottoms, jean shorts, my bouncing souls tank top, grey plaid button up, black stockings, and my grey converse, I lay them on my bed and head for the shower. Before I get in I turn on my ipod and blast some Black Flag. As I shower I start to impulsively sing the lyrics. I get so lost in my singing I completely loose myself and have paid no intention to time.

When I finally finish I get out wrap up in a towel and start to comb my hair and blow dry it out. I put on light makeup consisting of just my foundation, eye liner, mascara, and lip gloss. Then I walk out to get dressed and the first thing I see is Frank sitting at my desk humming away to the music looking through some of my stuff. I cough to get his attention and he looks at me and smiles that heart melting smile of his. “I like your taste in music” he says without a care in the world. I just look at him dumbfounded.

I finally speak up “How long have you been in here?” he just shrugs his shoulders and says “I don’t know? For a little while I guess.” I can tell he already took a shower his hair is still damp so that leads me to think how long have I been in there? He speaks again “you better hurry and get dressed your friend called you a couple times and sent some nasty text messages ultimately saying you better hurry up.” I smile at the thought of Gerard freaking out and I grab my clothes off the bed and scurry to the bathroom to get dressed.

While in the bathroom I hear Frank talking to me some more. “You know you could have dressed out here its not like I haven’t seen you naked before.” I chuckled loud enough so he could hear me “Not in a million years bud.” I say while putting on my shorts and walking out as I step out Frank looks at me in awe “Well you look beautiful.” I blush slightly plopping on my bed to put on my shoes. “So are you ready?” I ask him to change the subject. He leaned back in my chair and said “yup whenever you are.” I finish lacing up, grab my slouchy grey knit hat, and phone and tell him “let’s go.”

We head out the door I make sure to lock up and we start walking. We didn’t talk for awhile, but Frank initiated the conversation, “So how far does Gerard live?” I answer him casually “On the other side of town.” He just stared at me and then spoke, “You walk over to his house much?” I laughed a bit “You could say that, Gerard actually lives close to the school and since my mom works a bunch I stay there a lot.” He looks at me with a face I can’t quite put my finger on, and then speaks “Does your mom know?” I put my hand on my neck and rub it a little. “Not really, she knows I hang out with friends but she’s never really met them.”

Frank looks astonished for awhile but ultimately smiles and says, “Well aren’t you just bad?” I just laugh and we don’t say anything until we get to town and pass the local Starbucks where I stop and tell him. “Were getting close to Gerard’s and we are already late I’m going to get him a coffee and treat to be in his good graces again.” I laugh a bit and continue “Want anything?” he just shakes his head no, but I dash in and get all of us something despite his rejection.

When I come back out Frank is on his phone and I overhear the end of his conversation. “Jamia I got to go I can’t talk right now.” he pauses “Okay we will talk later bye.” He closes his phone sighs and turns around to me. “Oh Natalie how long you been there?” I think about what to say for a moment “Not long just came out.” he studies my face and I just smile. “Well Frank you ready to meet Gerard?” I say to change the subject so he doesn’t have to explain himself. He nods and we take off walking again.

Just as we are almost to the door, Frank realizes I have 4 cups of coffee and asks who the other cup belonged to just as I knocked on the door. I give a short answer as the door flies open “Mikey.” The wide eyed cute dorky boy yells at the top of his lungs “OH MY GOD GERARD NATALIE IS HERE AND HAS COFFEE!!!!!” I just laugh give him his cup and walk in with Frank on my tail. I look around for Gerard and ask Mikey where he is. He replies with an annoyed tone “In his room being a complete drama queen.” I smile at Frank grab his hand and lead him to the basement.

Once we step of the last step into the bedroom I let go of Franks hand and turn on the light. As I do so I hear a hissing sound over by the couch, I look over and see Gerard with his shades on laid out on his chair moaning. I walk over to him bend down to his face and say, “Hey gorgeous I got you some coffee and cookies.” I hand him his cup and kiss his cheek. He perks right up and sits in his chair right. “Oh my god babe you can seriously read my mind.” He says slurping down some of his coffee. I sit down on the couch and pat the seat next to me for Frank to sit, and he does.

After a moment or two I finally say to Gerard. “This is Frank Iero he just moved in next door from me.” Gerard lifts his shades looks at Frank in the face and says, “So you’re the new someone.”

I am so sorry it has been 6 months since i last updated my daughter had her 1st birthday then i had some family die and to top it off i couldnt sign in because of google or something because of new security changes, but i got it taken care of i just sign in through mibba now and problem solved. i hope everyone can forgive me i hope to update once a week or something of that nature just bare with me alot is happening and im just trying to make the best of it! much love <3 P.S.
