Divided

We were all in the library. Me, Gerard, Mikey and (ugh) Andrew. Gerard was sitting at his desk with his hands folded on top of the desk, Mikey and Andrew were standing behind him, one on each side. I was sitting in front of them. Although I still felt very happy from what had happened last night, I had a strange feeling in my stomach that Gerard was going to make me pay for disappearing last night.
"Were where you?" Gerard spoke, he sounded calm... Serial killer calm...
"In my room...all night..." That's not a lie....
"Why?" He was staring right into my eyes, but I didn't want to break eye contact, he would think I'm lying
"I didn't feel well, after dancing with Mikey, I drank a bit o champagne and ate something, but it made me feel sick..."
"Why didn't you ask us to be excused?" This time, it was Andrew that spoke
"Ask you?! I'm sorry, I didn't know that my freedom to go and throw up when ever I felt like it has been revoked!" I spat the words at him "Or perhaps you would've prefered me doing that on top of your shoes..."
"People were asking about you, they wanted to congratulate you on your wedding..." Gerard spoke again
"Then it's a good thing I left then..."
Gerard was hyperventilating, Mikey started looking scared but Gerard calmed down enough to say
"In order to compensate your absence, you and Andrew will have lunch today."
"Excuse me????!!!" I almost chocked on my own words
"I would be the best opportunity to get to know each other..." Andrew said. How can that man talk without emotion?
"Well I'm still not feeling very well so...." I rushed out the words, starting to feel a bit of panick. The last thing I wanted was to be alone with that man, even if he was the last man on earth!
" Go and get dressed Jane. Now!"
I looked over at Mikey for help, but he was staring at the ground. "Some backbone that boy has..." I thought
" Why would I even want to have lunch, or any sort of meeting by the way, with him?" I spat the last word like it was poison
"Because you're being told to. You are his future wife, and you'll do as your told!"
"He doesn't own me!" I was shouting at this point
"BUT I DO!!" Gerard got up and screamed at me "NOW GET YOUR ASS UP THERE AND GET READY BEFORE I MAKE YOU DO IT BY FORCE!"
"TRY IT!!" I dared him also getting up.
Before I realized what was happening, I got thrown across the room and pinned to the wall. Gerard was on the other side of the room with his hand streached in my direction.
I couldn't move, my arms were pinned to my side. I concentrated as hard as I could on his arm and made his jacket burst into flames. He squirmed trying to put it out and lost his focus on me. I broke loose and focused on a small table that was next to him and made it crash on his head. He was bleeding now. I smirked. Gerard's eyes went black with fury and I was flying across the room again but this time, my head hit the wall and I fell to the ground, nauseated and dizzy. When I was able to focus again, Mikey stood between us
"Enough!!" He opens his arms like his trying to push us way "Enough already!"
Gerard was grasping for breath, with his hand on his head looking for where the blood was coming from. I was still sitting on the floor, my head swirling. Andrew was still behind Gerard's desk looking at the scene, with no emotions on his face.
"If you don't stop fighting each other..." Mikey continued "You'll end up killing you're selfs! Is that what you want?!"
Gerard looked up at me. He regained his posture, but I could see he was in pain. Whether it was from his head or his own feelings, I couldn't tell...
"Get her out of my sight... Take her to her room and MAKE her get ready." After that, Gerard left to attend to the slash on his head, that was bleeding a lot by now.
Mikey sighed and walked over to me, bending down to help me get up
" I'll be waiting for Miss Jane in my car..." Andrew said. Be we just ignored him.

Mikey helped me to my room and sat me on the bed. He was touching my face and checking my eyes to see if I had signs of a concussion.
"I'm fine Mikey" I pushed his hands away, fighting the tears that were coming to my eyes
"Why do you do this to yourself Jane? Why do you fight him?" Mikey sighed
"Because I can't let him control me! I'm not an object! Im not property that can be bought and sold like he's trying to do! Do you agree to what his doing?!"
" It's your duty as a Way to..."
"Fuck you Mikey!"
He knew that there was no point on continuing the conversation, so he sighed again and turned around to leave, but he stopped before he reached the door.
"I know he was here..." He said, his back turned to me "I know you were with him last night..."
I froze in place, I tried to deny it but no words were coming out
"I...I don't know...."
"Don't lie to me Jane." He turned around to face me "I saw you! You and him, going up the stairs to come here!"
My heart was racing, the only thought rushing through my mind was Frank's safety. What if Mikey followed him after he left? What if he was hurt? Tears started rolling down my cheeks again.
"I won't tell Gee..." He used Gerard's nickname "But you need to start doing as you are told..."
"So you're blackmailing me..." I said
"No... I'm warning you Jane. Do as you're told. Or Gerard will know all about you're encouter with the man that is not you're future husband. And I'm sure we both know what's going to happen if he finds out..." then turned around, opend the door and left me crying.
