Cemetery Drive

"You ready Frank?" Gerard asked.

I nodded and hugged Eliza closer to me; I had her angled so her face was pushed up against my chest; so Josh wouldn't be able to see her right away. Gerard had gone to the door and stuck his head out and told someone they could come in, in a matter of minutes Gerard was next to me and Josh followed by two security guards had walked in. Josh's eyes instantly went to the little pink bundle in my arms; I wish she was still in my stomach so I could protect her from him. He took a step closer to us, probably to get a better look at her but one of the guards stopped him and made him sit down in the chair then handcuffed his feet to the chair.

"What's her name?" He asked.

"Eliza." I answered, holding her a little closer to me, I'm glad she is sleeping.

"Can I see her?" He asked hesitantly.

I looked over to Gerard and he nodded and I leaned over to him and handed her to him. He slowly walked over to Josh then sat beside him and laid Eliza on his lap so Josh could see her.

"She's so beautiful." He commented I just nodded; even though it was very true I didn't want to give him any satisfaction.

He reached one hand out about half way to her face but paused and looked to Gerard then me, I nodded and so did Gerard then Josh slowly reached down and stroked her little face. As he did so Eliza stirred in her sleep but didn't wake up.

"Wow she's so perfect." He said then just stared at her.

For a couple of hours all he did was stare at her. He didn't make any comments about anything other than how perfect she is, and when she woke up and looked up at him he was in complete awe. And when she started crying he didn't freak out or anything, he talked in a pouty voice and asked her what was wrong.

"It's time for her to eat again." I said, Gerard picked her up from him and handed her over to me. When I leaned forward to take her I scrunched up my face from accidentally pushing on my stitches and Gerard told me to stay still then placed Eliza against my neck and draped a blanket over her, within seconds she started sucking.

"Why does he have to take it easy?" Josh asked.

"I had a C-section instead of pushing." I explained.

"Oh, well I hope you feel better soon." He said awkwardly, I could tell he didn't know what to say.

"So I know you don't like my mom and don't want her to meet Eliza but she's still her grandmother and-"

"My mom and franks mom are her grandmothers." Gerard interrupted.

"I'm sorry, her birth grandmother." He corrected himself. "Can I or you at least mail her a picture; I know she really wants to meet her."

"I mean.... I'll consider a picture." I told him. Eliza stopped sucking at the perfect moment and I handed her over to Gerard to burp her, as he did she threw up on his shirt.

"Oh thank you sweetheart, I'll cherish this gift forever." He said in a baby voice then handed her back to me. "I'm gonna go change real quick." He said then kissed my forehead and walked into the connecting bathroom in my room.

"Gerard seems like a good guy." Josh commented as I cleaned Eliza's face.

"He's the best."

"Well then I'm glad he was here for you and Eliza when I wasn't."

"So am I." I whispered because it looked like Eliza was about to take a nap. "I don't know if I would have been able to do it without him by my side."

"I'm glad he was there to help you and the baby." He said and I could tell he was sincere.

I'm really sorry about the wait and how short this is, I've just had a lot of things going on, Like how I was fired from my job because of the stupidest reason and I broke up with my boyfriend and all my friends are taking his side and making me feel like shit about it and hanging out/comforting him even though they barely know him nad yeah im just frustrated
