Cemetery Drive

It was about eight at night when the nurse came in and had to ask everyone to leave because visiting hours were over, she also said that they could all come back tomorrow at nine in the morning when the open again. But Gerard and I told them not to; we wanted to deal with Josh ourselves.

"I'm nervous for tomorrow." I whispered as I cradled Eliza in my arms, she was about to fall asleep.

"Don't be." He said as he came over to me and kissed my forehead then stroked out baby's face. "I'll be here, so will you, and I've requested hospital security here as well and already told them our situation."

"Thank you." I said then kissed him.

"Hello new parents." A nurse whispered as she walked in. "Since today was a long hard day we like to give the parents the nighttime to rest." She said and took little Eliza.

"But if I get the night to rest how will I get used to a baby at night." I said not wanting to give her up for the night.

"You're body went through a lot today, you need rest, and the police told us Josh will be visiting first thing in the morning when visiting hours are open." She reminded me, "You need the rest."

"Babe she's right, plus it's just one night. We have so many more with her." Gerard said then kissed my temple.

"Okay." I sighed not wanting to let her go.

The nurse smiled before she took Eliza and left. Gerard pushed a button on my bed that made it go down so I could start getting some sleep. He went to the light switch and flipped off the lights before he sat in the chair next to me and covered himself with a spare blanket. After a few moments of silence and me staring up at the dark ceiling, I still couldn't fall asleep.

"Gerard."

"What's up?" He asked, he sounded sleepy.

"I can't sleep." I plainly stated.

"Why?"

"Because I'm alone, for the past nine months I've had you in the bed with me and I'd always have Eliza with me but now I don't and now I can't sleep-" before I had even finished my sentence Gerard was up and crawling under my blankets and spooning me.

"I didn't need a back story." He said and kissed me, "All you had to do is ask." Then he wrapped his hand firmly around my waist and I snuggled back to him before closing my eyes and falling asleep.

Morning came too early, I woke up to Gerard lightly shaking me and pressing kisses to my neck.

"Babe, a certain little princess wants you." He sang.

I opened my eyes and saw that he was cradling little Eliza who was wide awake in his arms. I smiled and reached out for her when I saw her; Gerard happily places her in my arms and I kissed her forehead good morning.

"Hello there my little angel." I said and kissed her little nose, "How long as she been here?"

"For about thirty minutes, I wanted some alone time with her." He smiled, he was still wearing the scrubs from yesterday, and damn did they make him look attractive; I'm gonna push for him to become a doctor.

"How much longer do we have until he gets here?" I asked not looking away from Eliza's eyes.

"Visiting hours open in about an hour. And I talked to some people, they're gonna have his feet handcuffed to a chair so he won't be able to pull any sh- thing." He caught himself before he cursed in front of the baby. "Also a prison and hospital security guard will be here the whole time he is."

"He'll leave once visiting hours are over right?" I asked.

"Yup."

"Good, so that's only twelve hours with him." I said unenthusiastically.

"Babe, there is one more thing."

"What?" I groaned.

"He called his parents when he was still in jail and they're coming as well, not right when he comes but at some point."

"What? No. That's crossing a line, the agreement was he gets to see her four times a year; not his parents or his family. His mother hates me, she always has, her comments about me being fat or will never be good enough for her son make that pretty damn clear."

"I know. Do you want me to call and say they can't come?" He asked.

As I was about to answer Eliza let out a little cry and soon it turned into full blown crying.

"Is she okay? Do you need me to get a nurse?" He asked.

I looked down at her crying and knew nothing was wrong with her, she was just hungry.

"No," I said as I placed her head in the crook of my neck and let her get settled in. "My baby's just hungry."

When she was comfortable two of her little fangs popped out and she started sucking my blood, baby vampire fangs only come out with contact of their mother’s skin until later in life.

"You're so good at this." Gerard told me.

"Thanks."

"So back to Josh's parents."

"No, I don't want them alone with her or even near her." I said firmly.

"Okay babe, whatever you want."

Sorry its not as long as it normally is, and that its been a while since I updated. I'm just tried all the time from work and I've been nervous about me getting my birthmark removed soon. But still I haven't forgotten about you guys and I'll continue to update.
