Summary
A freshman in highschool, 14 year old Frank Iero is having issues fitting in at Queen of Peace Highschool in North Arlington. As a pretty down to earth guy, Frank doesn't speak up much. He is into his music, and his books. His father encourages his continuation as a drummer, and his mother encourages him to keep reading. Though he does have a few piercings, Frank is pretty calm. He always keeps to himself, and this often gets him in trouble because he doesn't know how to tell people to stop.
As a senior in highschool, 17 year old Gerard Way has moved passed fitting in, and has finally come to terms with himself, and his friends. A very outgoing student, Gerard has plenty of attitude, and knows how to hurt with his words. A natural born singer, Gerard has the dream of starting a band, but something was missing. They had drums, a bass, a singer, and a lead guitar, but something was just missing.
The day that Frank and Gerard cross paths is a day that they will never forget. The unlikely pair grow to be friends fast, but is there something deeper beneath their friendship? Follow the five boys in their journey to fast friends, and a band that will change lives.
