Finding Color

Hello, all.

I know I've been gone for quite awhile now, and I'm sorry. I'm not sure when I'll be back. I'm not one to vent all over the internet, but I feel like I owe some sort of explanation.

I recently took on a lot of time-consuming projects as a sort of distraction from some personal issues. Needless to say, it didn't really work. I've been in and out of the psychiatric ward over the past few months, but should be out on the long term now, as far as I know. Because of this, I also have a lot off schoolwork to catch up on as well.

I'm all right for now, I think. I had a serious heart to heart with some friends at 2am in Rome over the past week (Isn't that the most cliche thing you've ever heard? Yet, it happened to me.), I've been on some medication, and I've been going to talk to a psychiatrist. Things seem sort of okay for once. Despite this, I feel like it's going to take a lot more talking and even more time to get me feeling good again.


I've been feeling kind of shit about myself lately, and it's been hard finding motivation to write. But I'm not abandoning this story; I will be back. It's just that a little time to get back on my feet might be in order. I'm sorry to have kept you all waiting.
