[u][b]Party Poison’s POV[/b][/u]
“Alright guys,” I started, standing with my two closest friends – and brother – on the scorching hot dirt that stood under our worn out boots, and threw each particle of its rocky surface away when a light breeze came along. Every now and again we would spot an odd little grass patch – and believe me, they were little – as we drove along the endless roads between each Zone, but there was never any lakes or animals, other than vultures. Lots and lots of scavenger vultures, picking away at anything they could possibly get down their narrow throats to survive in the tiniest little way. “Do you all have your ray guns?” As I asked this, each one of us reached into our pockets, boots or wherever we had hid them, and took out our own brightly coloured weapons.

“Yup.” Fun Ghoul replied, spinning his smoothly without an effort around his index finger. If you watched it for a long time, you could sometimes see a green glow from the gun as it spun, round, and round, and round...

“Got it.” Kobra Kid confirmed, keeping a firm hold of his red ray gun as though it was going to grow legs and run off. I chuckled a little at the thought, and he just looked at me with a confused look. I shook it off, and then looked towards Jet Star who had just recently shown his own weapon.

“Right here.” He said, motioning to his blue ray gun in his hand, and I nodded as I held my yellow one.
“Looks like we’re all set,” I announced, “Let’s get moving.”

We walked across the dry soil that completely surrounded us – other than the only road that ran along every Zone – until we reached the end of a small hill. Once we reached the edge of it, our gazes quickly dropped below to see a whole crowd of Draculoids running in our direction, and I heard Ghoul sigh beside me.
“Here we go again...” He whined, and I just shook my head and smiled a little.
“Well, at least Dr. D didn’t send us in the wrong Zone like last time... Now come on, we’ve got to get them away or else we’ll be screwed!” I ran down the hill in the lead of the others, but I knew that they were close behind. I ran straight through the middle of the riot crowd, shooting laser beams from my gun and ducking from anyone else’s as I ran. I stopped when the force of the crowd became harder to push away, and tripped up or shot any Drac that ran past or up to me. I caught a glimpse of Ghoul not too far away from me, whilst Kid and Jet weren’t so far apart behind Ghoul.

This was going to be a long fight...
