Chapter Twooooooo

*Gerard's POV*

My face is met with the sharp coolness of the water. Bubbles slip out of my mouth as I struggle against the tight choke hold it has on my neck. I'm running out of air quickly and black spots start clouding my vision. I buck my legs up and it seems like I've hit something because the hold on my neck falters just enough for me to turn around so I can get a clear shot at the assailant's face. When I turn around, however, I am not met with the face of a human, not anything even closely related to one. The thing may have a human-esque form but that is where the similarities end. It's face is scorched and the thin slivers of what seem to be lips are pulled into a glowing snarl. The thing is literally glowing! Sparks are shooting off of it's flesh, it provides the only light in the dark, dank hallway. The walls are solid concrete and are for sure leaving a nasty bruise on my back judging by how many times the thing has slammed me against it with it's burning hands singeing the front of my leather jacket. The thing opens it's mouth showing it's even more scorched tongue and pulls me forcefully towards it. Before it can eat me I jerk awake. I am suddenly back in my own bedroom. I sit up slowly, the image of the demon still vivid at the front of my mind. The urges start up again and I curse myself for not being able to sleep and keep them at bay. I creep into my bathroom, now fully awake, and close the door. I flick the light switch and reach for my secret stash of blades. Without even thinking I pick it up naturally feeling its coolness on my skin. I slowly drag the blade across my flesh a trickle of blood seeping out. Unsatisfied, I slash another cut this time deeper and choke back a cry of pain. I keep going, working my way down my arm cutting "across the river" so as not to kill myself. By the time I'm done I can already tell that this is going to leave a noticeable mark
