Forever and always

"This is crazy, I can't believe we're doing this." I say to frank, he just smirks and says "Oh we're doing it baby."
"But what if we get caught?" I ask nervous.
"We won't" he says like it's an obvious answer.
"How can you be so sure." I wonder, the worry evident on my face.
"Babe, calm down. We're not going to get caught. We're only going to drive the car until we're out of jersey and then we'll ditch it somewhere. His drunk ass probably won't even notice it's gone."
"But what if he notices your gone?" I ask, still scared that his dad might notice and report frank missing and the car stolen. Frank snorts, "Like he'll give a shit." I sigh, still not believing everything is going to work out how we want it to.
"Baby please just calm down, we'll be fine. We're not going to get caught. Once we're out of jersey we're free, we don't have to worry about anything we can just keep going, wherever you want we can go."
"What about money?" I ask.
"I have like 300 saved, do you have any?" He asks back.
I sigh again, "I have 6,000 that was supposed to be for art school, my mom started saving college money for me when I was a baby up until she died. My dad doesn't know about it." "Really? Gee that's great. See? It's all gonna work out fine." He says, pulling me into his lap.
"We can't live off that forever frank." I say.
"I know babe but once we figure out where we wanna go we can find an apartment and I'll get a job. Maybe you can go to art school too like you've always wanted. It'd be just you and me."
I close my eyes and rest my head in franks neck, breathing in deeply. "I guess babe, but if we get caught I'm saying you kidnapped me." He chuckles, "Of course babe." And starts rubbing my back, I feel myself starting to get tired and I mumble a quiet 'I love you.' He pulls me tighter against him and whispers "I love you too" and kisses my forehead lightly. I drift off to sleep with a smile on my face.
