After The Break Up

Frank's P.O.V

Gerard shot to his feet and grabbed Mikey's hand. Kristin did the same. While Bandit grabbed Kristin and Gerard's other hands. Lyn-z smiled as she texted Ray and the Ways. I smiled at Mikey.
"I can't leave you guys alone for five minutes." Mikey said looking from Bandit to me and back. "And you start winding eachother up. Do you ever just talk without the insults?"
Bandit grinned. "No." She admitted. "It's so easy to annoy Frank. He's so short."
"I'm taller than you." I huffed.
"But I'm only nine." She stated. "Your what? Eighty?"
"Cheers for that." I moaned as everyone laughed. Even Gerard. "And thanks for sticking up for me, baby."
"If it was anyone else but Bandit, I would." He said. "I can't save you against my daughter. Sorry, baby."
Lyn-z smiled. "Don and Donna are on their way." She told us. "Bob's picking them up. Brian's picking up Ray. Bob said an hour. Brian said twenty minutes."
Gerard nodded at her as a doctor walked in.
"Your a lucky man, Mr Way." The dark haired doctor said. I think his name is doctor Urie. "Your crash resulted in a small head injury that put you in a coma for just two days. Other than that you sustained a few cuts and bruises."
Mikey frowned. "Wait." He said. "Crash? Coma?"
Gerard sighed. "You were in a car crash." He said. Mikey stared at him as he spoke. "You were on your way home when your brakes failed. You hit a wall. The car's totaled. You were in a coma for just two days."
"But..." Mikey muttered. "I don't remember the crash. The last thing I remember is waking up next to Kristin and asking her to marry me."
Gerard smiled. "I guarantee she said yes."
Mikey and Kristin smiled as they looked at each other. "Yes she did."
I stood up and put a hand on Gerard's shoulder. He looked down at me. "We should let them have some time alone."
Everyone agreed and left the room. Lyn-z and Bandit went home. I drove Gerard back to his house.

Two hours later.

I snuggled back into Gerard's arms as we lay on the couch watching Silent Hill. He had his arms wrapped around my waist.
"I love you, Gerard." I said.
Silence.
I turned, carefully, in his arms to see he was asleep. I smiled as I watched his handsome face. I still can't believe he's mine. Fourteen years of loving him. Wanting him. All the looks I would give him when I thought he wasn't looking. I used every opportunity and every excuse to touch him. When we kissed on stage, I thought I'd finally got the man I loved. Then Lindsey came along. When he married her, I cried. Ray caught me crying back stage. I wasn't allowed to kiss him or hug him on stage anymore. I was devastated. So I married my friend. But I couldn't get Gerard out of my head. I loved him way too much. If only Lyn-z had of backed off when she realised how we felt about each other. We could have been so happy all these years. Instead I would settle with reading his tweets, tumblr posts, etc. Follow his career. Watch Kerrang! every day just to get a glimpse of him. I was slowly dying inside. Until Cherry and Lilly were born. I would still long to be with the man I love, but the twins helped me get through the day. Then when Miles was born, I tried to pretend I was happy. But I was only happy with my kids. Jamia realised that and set me free. She said I should never have settled. When Gerard and Lyn-z gotddivorced, I was shocked. But secretly over the moon. But now all my dreams have come true. I have the love of my life. We're getting married. I'm so happy. I'm extatic. My life is finally looking up. I get to spend the rest of my life with the most handsome, kind, loving man on the earth. Nothing can spoil my happiness now.
I closed my eyes and drifted into a dream filled sleep. Unaware of the troubles that lay ahead.
