After The Break Up

Frank's P.O.V

Time Lapse>>>>>>>>>>

Two days later.

Gerard hasn't slept at all since he found out Mikey was in a coma. He refused to leave the hospital. He wouldn't leave Mikey's side. Kristin refused to leave him too. They were both determined to be there when he woke up.
"Mikey's strong." Gerard had said. "He would never leave us for long. He's scared of missing out."
Don and Donna had to go back to work. They didn't want to leave their sons. But they would be back every chance they got. So Bob offered his taxi duties. I visit with Ray every night at five. Bandit visits with Lyn-z at six every night. It was nearly five now. As I walked down the hallway towards Mikey's room with Ray in tow, we bumped into a very tired looking Kristin. She smiled, sadly.
"I'm just going to get a coffee for me and Gerard." She explained.
Ray smiled back. "I'll join you." He said.
"Is Gerard..?" I trailed off.
Kristin sighed. "Still with Mikey." She finished.
I smiled as they walked away. Then I entered Mikey's room, quietly. I stopped when I saw Gerard sat beside the bed, holding Mikey's hand, his head resting on Mikey's shoulder. His eye's were closed as he spoke, quietly.
"Please don't leave me." He said. "I can't cope without you. You are my life. I need you. You have to be there when I marry Frank. By my side. My best man. How can it be the best day of my life without you? "He sighed. "I really love him, Mikey. I don't know how I've managed without him. He's everything to me. I can't wait till we get married..."
I smiled as he trailed off and fell to sleep. Quietly, I made my way to the chair Gerard was half on. I sat down then carefully pulled him so his head rested on my shoulder.
"Frank?" He mumbled, sleepily.
"I'm here, baby." I said as he snuggled into my side and drifted off again. I stroked his hair and kissed him on his head.
The room door opened and Ray and Kristin walked in. They smiled when they saw Gerard sleeping in my arms.
"He's finally sleeping." Kristin said.
"Yeah. One down, one to go." I said looking at her with my eyebrows raised.
She gave a dry laugh. "I'll sleep when Mikey wakes up."
"Frank's right." Ray stated as Kristin sat in the chair at Mikey's other side. "We'll stay in here and awake. If he wakes up while your asleep, we'll wake you. Sleep in the chair."
She sighed. "Not until he wakes up."
"No offence, Kristin, but you look like shit." I added. "You look ill. How do you think Mikey's going to feel when he wakes up seeing you looking ready to collapse?"
She sighed again. "Fine." She said in defeat. "But you have to promise to wake me."
"When Mikey wakes up, I'm going to scream with happiness." Ray said, grinning. "There's no chance you'll sleep through that."
I laughed at Kristin's shocked look. "He's not kidding." I said. "Ray has a very big mouth. They'll hear him in the UK."

One hour later.

I stayed awake as promised as Kristin slept in the chair at the other side of Mikey and Gerard slept in my arms. Ray went home ten minutes ago. The door opened and Bandit walked in with Lyn-z behind her. They went quiet and smiled as they noticed Gerard and Kristin were asleep.
"Daddy's asleep." Bandit whispered.
I grinned. "I see the mask didn't stop you noticing that." I joked.
Lyn-z grinned.
Bandit kissed Gerard's cheek then grinned at me. "Your just jealous because I'm taller than you." She said, then kissed Mikey's cheek.
"Funny." I laughed. "Your only taller because of the horse you sit on."
"At least I'm tall enough to climb on a horse without using a full sized ladder." She said as she sat on the bed by Mikey's feet.
"Ha." I retorted. "Go rob a stagecoach."
"Go back to your mushroom house, fairy boy."
Lyn-z was trying to not laugh so loud.
"Shut it, Zorro." I fake snapped.
"Not a chance, Tinkerbell."
"I sleep for five minutes and already you two are winding each other up."
"UNCLE MIKEY." Bandit shouted as Mikey's eye's opened.
Both Kristin and Gerard shot to their feet.
