After The Break Up

Gerard's P.O.V

I stared at Frank, wide eyed. This has to be a joke. Right? But he looked serious. Anger suddenly overtook me. How do I know he was telling the truth about Jamia? Even if he was, I've lost five year's of my life. I close my eye's. I've dreamt about us getting married. So many times. I love him so much. I feel the anger wash away. He looks scared when I open my eye's. I have to say something.
"Frank." I start. "The last I remember I was still married to Lyn-z."
"But you got divorced." He protested.
I sighed. "Let me finish."
"Sorry."
"Like I said. Last I remember I was still married to Lyn-z. I don't remember my solo career. For some reason I even forgot the whole danger days era. Even though it started two years ago. I mean two years from the date I thought it was. I didn't recognise myself on a bloody t-shirt. I had to google my own life." I paused. "I have so much to remember. I mean I don't even recognise my own daughter. "
"That's not your fault."
"I know." I agreed. "What I'm trying to say is..." I sighed again. "...I can't marry you, YET."
Frank stood up and walked to the other side of the room. He kept his back to me as he ran both hands through his hair.
"I'm sorry, Frank." I said, gently. "I just have so much to deal with right now. I DO love you. But I need to sort my brain out first. I'm not saying no. I'm asking you to wait."
Frank spun round. He looked angry. "Wait?" He snapped. "I've waited fourteen fucking years. And your asking me to wait? I've waited long enough."
I stood up. Anger washing over me. "You selfish fucking arsehole." I snapped. "You CLAIM to love me, then you act like this. Get your fucking head sorted, Frank." I walked towards him. "Till then, stay the fuck away from me." With that, I walked over to my bunk and climbed in.

Frank's P.O.V

I stared as he walked away. I've done it again. Will I never learn? I completely understand what he'd said. He was right. He'd been through so much. He had so much to deal with. And I'd snapped because I'm a selfish dick. What a idiot. I headed for the bunks. Gerard's was empty? Wait. He went to his bunk. He climbed in. Where is he? I went up front. Bob was in the passenger seat next to Ray. Brian was in the drivers seat. Mikey was stood talking to them. We weren't moving yet.
"Hey guy's." I greated them. "Have any of you seen Gerard?"
Mikey frowned. "Is he not in the lounge?"
"He was. But he got in his bunk. He's not there now though."
"I'll phone him." Mikey said as he grabbed his phone.

Mikey's P.O.V

I dialed Gerard's number and put the phone to my ear. He answered after a few ring's.
Gerard: "Yep?"
Me: "Where are you?"
Gerard: "Out."
Me: "You can't just disappear like that. Not after recent events."
Gerard: "I couldn't stand being in there with Frank right now."
My eye's shot to Frank.
Me: "Why? What's happened?"
Gerard: "He asked me to marry him."
I frowned.
Me: "Isn't that a good thing?"
Gerard: "(Sigh) Not right now, no."
Me: "I still don't get it."
Gerard: "He fucking snapped at me because I asked him to wait. He fucking snapped at me."
I tense up. Anger washing over me as I stared at Frank.
Me: "He fucking snapped at you?"
Frank froze up. Fear crept onto his face.
Gerard: "I just need time, ya know? To sort my head out. I need to remember everything before I can move on. Is that too much to ask?"
Me: "No, Gerard. That isn't too much to ask. Where are you?"
Gerard: "On London bridge."
Panic set in. He's alone. In a city that love's him. He's gonna get overwhelmed by fan's.
Me: "We're coming to get you."
